I will be turning 22 this coming April. Do you think they will consider my application? I'm currently working and medyo nasa top management po ako. hindi po nagyayabang, pero my boss always tells me i'm so lucky to land this job na fresh grad pa ako. I love to travel and I'm young. I can always come back to this position in the future. Right now gusto ko maging FA. I've been searching and reading Saudia website and wala po ako nakikita kung san yun mga destinations nila. I have a friend in Qatar Airways and I know magaganda yun mga destinations nya. Is Saudia better than Qatar Airways? san mga countries nag fly yun Saudia?

Lastly, do you have an idea how much yun salary? kahit estimation lang... salamat po.

pero feel ko kulang pa yan kasi my friend once visited Seoul na din...

Salary and Destination wise Qatar, Emirates,Cathay, and Etihad Airlines will always be the best choice.

Pero if you are ok with the Salary that probably ranges about 60-90k and can go home every once in a while (so as to kill homesickness) yet still be able to travel around the globe ,then try Saudia and Asiana Airlines.

pero if you have the budget try Great Image Studio they will tell you the right pose for FA application , pwd rin naman stand straight kalang then arms on the side na naka relax, sa QR ganun *** pose na gusto nila, then sa clothes mas maganda may blazer or atleast a blouse with a collar on.

@Geloton: Hello there! just attended EK's OD at singapore last week! So far, no pinoys ang nabibigyan ng chance . More on locals yung kinuha nila. its heartbreaking pero I enjoyed SG!

Salamat DomoLouan! I decided na sa QR na muna. Narinig ko higher ang salary at mas maganda ang treatment sa Emirates, pero good experience na rin siguro yung QR. Thanks din sa reply kasi namotivate ako magresearch. I discovered na required pala na marunong mag-Mandarin, Malay, Thai or Vietnamese kung mag-aapply sa Malaysia, Indonesia or Singapore. At grabe daw yung SASS Atlantic (their version of our IPAMS, only ours is A LOT better), discriminating against Asian males. Whew.

Desidido na ko para sa QR this Feb sa Manila Hotel. I will have my dental braces removed and have fixed bridge installed. Hair makeover na rin. Hehehehe.

PS. Just to be 100% sure. Kahit open day yung sa QR this Feb, required ba to apply first sa IPAMS? Hindi, right? You can just walk in? Ang alam ko kasi EK lang yung talagang naki-partner sa IPAMS. Just to be 100% sure.

Hi everyone! I'm new to PEx but I've been a flight attendant wannabe since 2008 or even earlier!

I've applied to Qatar (last October) CebuPac and ZestAir (balak ko itry lahat hanggang sa matanggap ako! Haha).

Unfortunately, nagkachickenpox ako ngayon (ulit). I'm not scratching my blisters but I have a feeling hindi ako maka-go sa OD ng QR this Feb. dahil halata pa ang ibang marks.

I believe eitherway,whether pink or white,as long as may collar sana to go along with your blazer
Like gossiphinez said, i suggest Great Image for the photo studio...just simply tell them its for FA applications,they already know the drill,they'll help you out with the right poses narin.
I also suggest,for your photos, full corporate attire talaga meaning:

• Blazer and Skirt(slightly below the knee)
• Underblouse/shirt with Collar or Tie/Scarf-like Ribbon
• Closed Black Shoes
• ---Stockings,if you must
• Hair pulled up either in a Pony or Updo (as long as it wouldn't cover the face)
• Full Makeup (atleast visible enough sa photo)
• ...and lastly,your BEST Smile

I'm also trying my luck for QA this Feb...I've been a suki narin to ODs until FI sitches(which is definitely frustrating) since after I graduated and ngayon,after resigning from my company last year,i'm goin back to FA since ito talaga gusto ko.
I've tried my luck for Saudia even if I'm just turning 22,however,IPAMS really couldn't consider me, since I'm turning 22 on September pa,thus not meeting the min. age requirement.

Yes it was SASS. if im not mistaken, overall 25 kaming Pinoy na nagattend. Yung iba, dun sa SG na sila nakatira, pero di sila marunong magcantonese or mandarin

and its open to ALL. Pero, so far wala akong alam na natanggap na pinoy. Meron ako ksbay na Japanese and Thai na nakapasok sa AD =)

Hi, paano career track sa SaudiA? Kasi for Qatar after two years you can choose to apply for ground office positions. I think sa Emirates ganoon din puwede kang lumipat eventually. Eh sa SaudiA puwede bang ganoon of wala ng career track as you get older as in sa Cabin Crew career track nalang?

Yung friend ko nag attend sya ng OD last October, 21 pa lang sya nun kasi December pa sya mag 22. Ayun pinaiwan lang yung resume nya dun sa labas, d na nya na pass sa loob. 22 daw kasi dapat.

Yup walk in lang, punta ka lang sa hotel venue on the said time & date. Bring your requirements (resume & pics) and wear corporate attire.

just got home from the QR AD here in Abu Dhabi, madaming Pinay ang nakuha sa AD unfortunately, most of us didn't make the cut after the English Test. I am thinking I got booted out gawa ng allergy ko na nakita ng RO, sa noo pa kasi lumitaw. Try ko na lang ulit! NEVER SAY DIE 'TIL WE GET OUR WINGS TO FLY HIGH! Anyway, regarding Emirates, guys, I wanna share this, If you want to travel to Dubai, you must be fluent in Arabic as in walang chance ang non-Arabic speakers. Proven & tested ko na 'yan, twice! And aakalain mo na may chance ka kasi papayagan ka pumili for 3-4 hours para papasukin sa auditorium to tell you na it's only for Arabic speakers. And as for them hiring Pinoys in other countries, the chance is very, very slim kasi umiiwas sila sa pag-hire ng Pinoys kasi there are lots of Pinoy EK crews na mahilig mag-loan yet tumatakas. It's really disappointing 'cause they apparently seemed to have closed the doors on us EK hopefuls...

Kahit ba grad ako ng suma cum, working as a manager (top management na po yun position), 5 ft 5. hindi pa rin ba talaga pwede dahil wala pa ako exaktong 22? parang napaka OA naman yun age na 22. subalit sa ibang bansa at least 18 pwede na maging FA. sorry hindi po ako nagyayabang. I'm just venting out my frustration after reading the above post regarding sa age.

one last question, sa Qatar Airways ba at least 22 pa rin ba?

hello!I'm not sure about this one though, cause I think they prioritize the Nationals when it comes to career opportunities like ang mga pursers ata nila is mga male cabin crew halos , maybe the best option is it's either you make Saudia as the stepping stone in applying for other airlines ground offices or mag apply sa mga 5 star Middle east airlines in which their office is rides away from Jeddah
