Four big names in the entertainment industry join forces on another bigger teleserye that will be soon airing on ABS-CBN entitled Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw. Starring Queen of Philippine Talk Kris Aquino, Box Office Actress Anne Curtis, Action Star Robin Padilla and Child Wonder Xyriel Manabat, the teleserye that tackles about love, trust and family that will be starting its taping day on February 21.

Last night, (February 2) drama unit headed by Deo Edrinal and Julie Anne Benitez announced this movie when they invited some bloggers and entertainment press with the production team and members of the ABS-CBN management on a very special back to back birthday treat for Kris Aquino and Anne Curtis at the 9501 ofELJCCBuilding. This is the teleserye where Anne and Kris will actually have intense exchange of lines where their last TV series was Hiram. This is also a reunion of Kris and Robin on TV after their 2003 movie entitled You and Me Against the World. While for Robin this is his next teleserye after Guns and Roses with Bea Alonzo. Lastly, Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw gives Xyriel Manabat a chance to work more with big stars in the entertainment industry after her stint on 100 Days to Heaven as the younger version of Anna Manalastas (Connie Reyes) where she gained huge followers because of this teleserye.

Inanunsyo ni Kris Aquino sa Kris TV na makakasama rin niya si Richard Yap (Papa Chen sa My Binondo Girl) sa bago niyang teleserye na Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw with Robin Padilla and Anne Curtis.

Tinanggap na ito ni Richard at ang dialogue niya, excited siya to work with Kris.

Bongga, dahil kasama si Papa Chen sa taping abroad. Sey ni Kris, kasama ng aktor ang misis nitong si Melody sa out-of-the-country shoot.

“Based on the story, sa abroad tayo magsu-shoot. Dapat sumama siya (Melody) kasi matagal 'yata ’yon. Ang bina-block-off nila ay two to three weeks 'yung sa pagsu-shoot natin. I'm so excited to work with you kasi mai-in-love ka sa akin pero hindi kita ila-love kasi may asawa na ako, ikaw kasi, eh,” sey ni Kris kay Papa Chen.

Interestingly, pareho ng apelyido si Richard at ang dating asawa ni Kris na si James Yap. We wonder kung magkamag-anak sila.
