.... I really think DLSU deserves the thrice-to-beat/twice-to-win advantage should they sweep the eliminations.

It's a good rule, because it incentivizes perfection.

I was troubled when one of the courtside reporters relayed that Gorayeb was apparently banking on the fact that Ateneo's #2 ranking was OK for them since it was (then) as good as being #1. (Of course, I'm paraphrasing here). That attitude can only lead to subpar volleyball.

The attitude I much prefer is for teams to do their best in every game, irrespective of standing. This way we (the fans) always get the best volleyball.

Not to belittle the young FEU lady spikers, but in terms of skills and experience, the advantage is with the ADMU lady spikers.

In terms of skills and experience, UST has the advantage over FEU. But FEU still beat UST, di ba? Nothing is impossible.

magkaiba kasi ang profile ng mga tao na nanonood ng basketball games sa profile ng mga nanonood ng volleyball games. the DLSU-ADMU men's basketball games feature people who come mostly from the A, B and C classes na alumni ng Ateneo at ng La Salle. ang DLSU-ADMU volleyball games, medyo "masa" pa ang audience at hindi pa masyadong pinapanood ng alumni ng Ateneo at ng La Salle.

most die hard alumni of both schools (admu and dlsu) are die hard fans because they started there. meaning from elementary to college. in high school, basketball is popular even in High School. i don't think volleyball is a popular sport in LSGH or AHS.
