Thanks to all the pexers who replied!

Expect elevator traffic and paranoia na malilate ka lagi on your first week.

Nung first day ko I took the stairs to the 10th floor kahit maaga pa sa sobrang haba nung pila. Tapos everyday, 7:00 pumapasok na ko kasi natatakot ako sa mahabang pila. ) Pero nung nasanay ako, kahit 7:50 na pumipila pa rin ako. )

Expect a lot of adjustments especially sa time management mo, mabilis talaga ang galaw dito sa DLSU kaya be ready.

    FUN.

    Expect inumans with your friends.

    Expect Tapat and Santugon.

    Be ready for MLS.

expect the long elevator lines for Andrew building froshies it is really better to arrive 15 minutes earlier or even better 30 minutes before your classes scheduled in Andrew

and of course explore the restaurants near DLSU as well, fastfood chains are not always the best options for maintaining a healthy lifestyle

and of course sa first week niyo pa lang bring different sizes of index cards na and of course lots of 1x1 or even 2x2 photos niyo swear the profs are in need of these in order to check your attendance (minsan for their seat plan na rin) and dun din ilalagay ang recitation grades niyo

meron pa pala , yellow pad!!! omigash very essential lalo na sa classes may mga prof na first meeting pa lang may pinapagawa na

Well to be fair e hindi naman laging mahaba ang pila sa Andrew. May mga times na walang tao (Usually e walang tao between 11 - 1230 and kapag hapon).

Besides, magsasawa ka., believe me. Nung Frosh ako halos every day sa labas ako kumakain, McDo, Jollibee, Mang Inasal, tapos soon dumating yung KFC..

Ngayon kapag niyayaya akong kumain sa labas, I shiver with disgust.

hmmm staying and maintaing grades in College of Engineering might not be easy at first, actually may mga iba rin naman na smart people na nadadale ng mga profs kahit first term pa lang , what I can suggest to you is focus lang talaga sa acads kung gusto mo maging scholar always plus ingat rin sa pagpili ng profs, minsan naman sa eng walang masyadong pagpipilian na profs eh just do your best na lang and good luck sa stay mo sa DLSU

Re: staying alive in eng or other difficult courses

While your primary concern should be studying, sometimes you also have to play around with the system. There are times when you already gave everything you get and still receive a 0.0 in the end. These things happen, but they're not entirely inevitable.

First is to avoid terror profs. Second, if you feel like medyo "sablay" na performance mo for that semester, you might want to consider dropping the course and just take it in the following semester.

Sa law ko lang yan natutunan. Since devastating at fatal talaga magka-bagsak, enrollment pa lang thorough research na yan sa past records ng prof, even his sample final exams. Tapos mag midterms talaga pag sablay exam mo at medyo mababa recits mo, you'll make a crucial decision whether to drop or not (in case of doubt usually mas ok magdrop na lang)

Kung ganyan din ginawa ko sa undergrad ko, baka di pa ako nagkabagsak haha.

    I really hope not...
When I was in my third year I went to divisoria and bought 8 shirts of different colors (red, blue, green, yellow, black, grey, white, maroon). Kung tama pagkakaalala ko 65 lang siya each haha.

Nainis kasi ako kasi dahil nga walang uniform ang la salle, ang bilis kumupas ang mga better quality shirts ko So i kinda made my own uniform

    Hi !^___^

I'm an incoming Pre-med Physics student this 24th of May. I just want to ask if my course is a great road to Med proper or do I need to shift to other pre-med courses like Bs Bio or BS Psychology for the better.

One more thing, I'm very curious why I only have 21 units(this includes my P.E.) while my high school classmates who enrolled at other schools got 27-29 units.

    Thank you for answering guys!

18 academic units is the maximum here in La Salle. Trimestral eh.

You will die/burnout if you had 29 units crunched up in just 13-14 weeks in DLSU. Just saying haha. Sometimes 14 or even just the minimum 12 units struggle na sa atin eh

not really hard for me. hehe. ECM-BSA's my course. it's mostly reading and understanding. pero in all essence, it's kind of a chill course for me.

  19. #79
^ Are you a genius or something?

ECM-BSA is definitely not a chill course, especially the BSA part. Haha.

  20. #80
hehe. i'm not a genius. bumagsak din ako ng comalge and actbas1. lol. pero para sakin, the retakes of the subjects make it easier the second time around. . what makes ECM-BSA an easy course for me, despite the difficulties afforementioned is that the course really is just applying what you're reading or understanding what you're studying. yu lang kulang ko dati. )
