BEST ATTACKER: i would pick Abi Marano over Maika Ortiz. Ortiz has been silent over their past games lalo na nung last game nila against DLSU. Parang hind mo maramdaman, unlike Marano na talagang on the go sa team at kung nagkakamali bumabawi saka mas type ko running hits nya and super quick hits nya and mas nagagalingan ako sa kanya mag block saka well-executed ang plays nya from the setter, may communication talaga sila at nabibigyan sya ng bola lagi.

i agree but last year Alarca won over Maizo, clearly Maizo has an edged over Alarca should be the runaway winner IMO, winning Best Scorer and Best Receiver, meanwhile Alarca is the Best Server and Best Attacker, however Alarca, though good in blocking doesn't have the receiving and even the setting ability / capability of Maizo but was still declared as MVP..

For me, with 4 games left in the eliminations for each team, here are the deserving winners:

Best Attacker: still too close to call. Marano's game has dipped in the second round in terms of point production, mainly because of the recent emergence of Cha Cruz and Galang. I'd love for her to win, but if she doesn't, Ortiz deserves this award.

Best Blocker: This award is Gumabao's to lose, and she probably won't lose it unless she suddenly doesn't get any blocks in the next four games. Which is highly unlikely.

Best Server: Still too close to call. Any sudden surge of aces from a player in the top ten can alter the current standings.

Best Digger: Agno or Vasquez lang talaga.

Best Setter: Giselle Sy deserves this. Ang galing ng running sets niya ha.

Best Receiver: Again, Agno or Vasquez lang.

ROY: Ara Galang, no competition.

MVP: Abi Marano, Cha Cruz or Fille Cainglet. Anyone of the three would be worthy winners. May offense and defense. Pwede na rin si Vargas. The rest of the heavy scorers, ok lang ang defense (Banaticla, Valdez come to mind)

If Abi and Fille were the leading MVP candidates for me in the first round, sa second round, it's Cha Cruz and Vargas who've impressed me.

Pero si Lazaro nagagalingan talaga ako sa kanya lalo na nung game nila against adamson.

That's why Maika Ortiz is plummeted in the #1 position in Best Attackers because she lands her every attack during the UST-ADMU game.

1. O sige, TRUE superstar si Alyssa at FAKE superstar si Maru, pero at the end of the day, kung sino ang mas maraming points scored by the end of eliminations siya ang mananalo nito. Maru has been consistently topping the scoring category for several games already and I think she'll eventually win this, regardless kung gaano kagaling si Aly.

2. While Maika didn't play well in their match against FEU, she played solid against UP (the game before DLSU) wherein she scored 15 points in 3 sets, and against FEU.

3. Hindi po best blocker award ang pinag-uusapan, so kung 100 blocks per game man si Abi at -100 blocks man si Maika, immaterial iyon dahil attack percentage ang USUALLY cinoconsider para sa best attacker award. Even after her dismal performance against DLSU, Maika still tops the best spiker award with a 1% lead against Abi.
