‘She is doing well in her career and her health has never been this great.’
CONTRARY to earlier report, Lorna Tolentino says she will sign up anew with TV5 when her contract with them expires in October.
As it is, she reveals, she is happy with the treatment she is getting from TV5, from its executives down to the lowest employees.
“Parang magkakapatid talaga ang treatment ng bawat isa,” Lorna says.
Lorna just arrived from her stem cell treatment, which, according to her, has obviously done her well. “At least, ‘di ko na nararamdamang kumikirot o masakit ang kahit aling parte ng aking katawan.
“Basta I feel good.”
Is she free from her scoliosis condition as well?
“Naku, hindi,” she replied. “Tinapat naman ako ng doctor sa Germany. Wala na raw makakapagpagaling nito, since this is supposedly a common condition in our family.
“Si Zsa Zsa (Padilla, yes the widow of Dolphy) mayroon ding scoliosis.
“Si Amy (Perez, host of TV5’s ‘Face to Face’) meron din.”
The mothers of Lorna, Zsa Zsa and Amy are sisters.

Lorna said she has completed, so far, two programs with TV5 since she became a Kapatid a year ago. These are “Glamorosa,” which co-starred her with Alice Dixson, and “Valiente,” where she appeared in a guest role.
Well, in her new show with TV5, “Third Eye,” a supernatural mystery drama, Lorna plays a role that she says is unique, different. She is a paranormal expert, one also gifted with a third eye.
She co-stars with another respected and award-winning actor, Eddie Garcia. Featured is young actress Eula Caballero.
Eula plays her first lead role, as the young girl who investigates the mysterious disappearance of her boyfriend.
It is in the course of her desire to find and, perhaps, save him that leads her to discover her ability to see creatures from a different realm.
“Third Eye” has four directors who all make possible the series’ gritty and edgy look.
“First time na mapapanood sa TV ang mga maligno at engkanto as they roam and wreck havoc in the city,” promised the four megmen, Toppel Lee, Robert Quebral, Benedict Mique and Rhayan Carlos.
“Third Eye” premieres on July 29, Sunday, 9:30 p.m.

We asked Lorna if she has not considered marrying again, as she has been widowed for four years.
Lorna replied she does not think she needs any man at this point in time in her life. As it is, she is happy and contented with her life now. She is doing well in her career and her health has never been this great.
She is happy doting on her two sons, Ralph and Renz, and first grandchild, Victoria, Ralph’s daughter named after her. Lorna is Victoria Lorna Aluquin in real life.
