Di na ata tuloy ang My Kontrabida Girl. Not sure pero noong December pa lang after ng issue kay Rhian may news na di ito tuloy.

GMA NETWORK PROMISES TO PRODUCE AT LEAST ONE MOVIE PER MONTH


As part of GMA Network's 2012 resolutions, GMA Films promises to produce more films for this year.

GMA Network Films, Inc. is a film production company and a film studio established in 1995 by GMA Network, Inc. in the Philippines. Its movie productions have become both critical acclaim and commercial successes, among which are "Jose Rizal," "Muro Ami" and "Deathrow."

“I have to admit that mas magaling sila when it comes to making movies so dahan-dahan muna kami, but our time will come. I told my daughter (Annette Gozon-Abrogar) that our goal should be to have one new movie each month,” says Atty. Felipe Gozon, GMA Network's President and CEO.

He acknowledged that GMA Films is still in its infancy and playing catch up with the more-established Star Cinema of ABS-CBN. In 2012, GMA Films’ initial offerings are a comedy, "My Kontrabida Girl," starring Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica, and the production outfit’s co-production with Indonesia’s Skylar Pictures, "The Witness," a horror flick starring GMA Artist Center’s Gwen Zamora.

Keywords: 2012 resolutions, promises, should be. Anyway, sana more movies will be produced by regal, viva, gma & others. Competition is good for the industry. In fairness, i like the concept of My Kontrabida Girl. Kaya lang walang hatak ang mga bida. Sayang.

I must say, this is the best movie poster for a Star Cinema movie so far!

Here is the synopsis of the movie:

The film deals about a man who falls in love with someone who doesn’t want to fall in love. John Lloyd Cruz plays the role of Macky Galvez, a depressed young man who’s been contemplating on why he had several failed relationships. Angel Locsin, on the other hand, plays the role of Ces, a modern-day woman who is afraid of commitments. When their worlds collide, a funny yet sexy love story develops!

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, “Unofficially Yours” is set to open in theaters on February 2012.

Showing ngayon sa mga sinehan ang Unofficially Yours, ang Valentine presentation ng Star Cinema na pinagbibidahan nina Angel Locsin at John Lloyd Cruz.


Ang dalawa ang magkapareha sa Imortal ng ABS-CBN pero ang Unofficially Yours ang kanilang unang pelikula kaya marami itong “firsts” para kay John Lloyd.


“First time namin ni Angel sa big screen, first time namin na gumanap sa ganitong klase ng roles, first time ng Star Cinema na gumawa ng pelikula tungkol sa isang casual relationship.”


Si Cathy Garcia-Molina ang direktor ng Unofficially Yours. Nakilala si Cathy bilang direktor ng romantic comedy at feel good movies at ayon sa kanya, ang Angel-John Lloyd project ang pinakamatapang na pelikula na ginawa niya, as far as theme is concerned.


Tungkol sa isang lalake na matindi ang paniniwala sa pag-ibig na na-in love sa babae na for fun at non-committal ang pakikipagrelasyon ang kuwento ng Unofficially Yours, pero love story pa rin ang treatment ni Cathy.
