Sa second year ka pa naman mag-bobotany eh so do your best na lang muna sa 1st year. As far as I know, you can't pick your chem profs (your required natsci for 1st year) so good luck!! I'm not that familiar with the chem profs yet.

You're BS LfSci, right? It would be very advantageous if you end up having Dr. T as your thesis adviser come senior year. Mahirap pero alagang-alaga 'cause your thesis will be part of her research. Every step of the way, tutok sa 'yo at alam mong tama ginagawa mo.

That's what I heard din. She's very very terror but she'll make sure you do everything correctly I can already imagine the blood, sweat and tears of getting her as an advisor One of my friends nga, during her freshman year, was required by Dr. T to write a 120+ page report/thesis for Botany. Grabe super stressed daw sila

Yan ang pinagtataka ko, parehas lang naman halos kase *** curriculum ng dalawa. Dun sa seminar namin, mga 6 times ang dami ng pumasa ng AMF kesa BS MA.

As far as I know, AMF is harder. It has an additional 5th year purely for Finance classes. I'm not entirely sure though since I barely know anyone in both courses.

halos same lang ang math and amf, pero syempre yung amf may finance... yung 5th year is optional... after 4 years, graduate ka na ng bs amf, if you pursue the 5th year, that's for your MS na... alam ko kasi hindi pa ganun kastringent yung quota ng amf given na it's a new course, pero soon enough maghihigpit din sila, one amf establishes itself na...

And yes 120+ pages nagmakaawa sila na gawing 100+ na lang pero di pinayagan. Sabi pa raw ni Dr. T, "Put pictures, graphs, whatever! As long as it's 120+ pages"
