But then again, Im not saying na hindi good ang accountancy sa San Beda.

    NASA STUDENT YAN.

may mga student kasi na nagiging complacent pag nakapasok sa isang magandang school to the point na hind na nagaaral ng mabuti, ang habol ay yung school name sa resume
Sorry Bro, top 5 accountancy school ang San Beda according to PRC na yan and BOA.

Actually nasa school din naman (in addition to the student's diligence/hard work). Every school has to meet the standards set by its peers.

Kasi kung, for example, may isang student na 'complacent' or 'mediocre' tapos hindi pa siya tinatanggal ng school, parang may 'mali' sa standards ng school niya. Parang ganun. There are certain institutions na hindi enough ang 'pumasa' lang every semester. There are times na nagtatanggal sila every year ng students to shed a certain portion of the student as years go by (for example, bottom 10 percent). Parang ganun.

Kung walang standard ang isang school, tapos hahayaan lang nila mag-aral ang students nila, parang may 'mali' sa patakaran ng school di ba?

Maraming factors para matawag na "best accountancy school" ang isang institution. Like pool of professors, learning resources, exam results, prominent graduates, peer evaluation, industry preference, retention rate, etc.

Stereotypes are for ignorant FOOLS. Do you know how many thomasians are managers and partners in SGV? Stop putting your foot in your mouth! Accounting is logic, once you understand it, then that's it.

I defend UST even though I failed their entrance exam, so go **** YOURSELF!!!!

Maraming SGV partners and managers na Thomasian because they are biggest chunk of graduates na nag wo work sa SGV kasi UST pinakamaraming graduate. Grads of other schools (say UP and DLSU) are not as many and not all of them go to SGV audit. If they do join SGV Audit, they do for the experience and then leave after 3 to 5 years to work for multinationals or for some other endeavor (business, further studies and surprisingly several take up law). Usually, mga UST mga naiiwan. Believe me, been there.

    Best school for accountancy

If you really want to know the best school for accountancy : Have a rigid or thorough research and investigation , 1) Don't just base your searching on the physical appearance of school or the beauty of the school campus (for some schools beautify their school just to attract enrollees ), 2) Don't just look at the last or recent board exam results (for some board exams where driven off w/ scams "tips are bargain on the eve of the exams") try to dig @ PRC archives for you to know which school really dominates the board exams - mas credible nga ang result dati kesa ***** !, 3) Don't base the quality of teachings to the rate of tuition fees ( its ironic that most best teachers in low profile schools are having extra load-teaching @ expensive schools " so pareho lang pala *** ng teachers ng mga elite students at sa katulad mong average students ). 4) Check mo kaya mga dating alumni ng bwat school "kung nasaan na sila at may narating ba sila sa profession nila . BUT MOST IMPORTAT of all " Nasa ESTUDYANTE yan " W A L A sa SCHOOL yan !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your allowance could go a long way too as Bacolod having low cost of living. Not to mention sidetrips to Boracay, Bohol, Dumagete, Cebu, Davao, etc. (they are relatively nearby).

My nieces and nephew from manila are having the time of their lives there studying accountancy with no regrets. The only donwside is there is too much mortality in the 1st year.
That is true. USLS has an excellent track record in its accountancy program. Palaging may topnotchers. Mahirap nga *** mka-graduate at mtaas yung mortality rate. You will have to pass two qualifying exams and maintain a grade of 83+ for all your major subjects. Not maintaining such grade would mean dismissal from the accounting program.
Btw, how are your nieces? What year are they and are they surviving? I hope you don't mind.

I am frm PLM and ok lang ang turo, my 50php per sem tuition really got far. If money is not in the equation, I would probably choose La Salle. Ok ang facilities and andun na din yung prestige ng university and sobrang ayos ng turo, I overheard that professors here were products of PLM (although this is really unreliable, narinig lang). Pag sa UP kasi masyadong pressured, pero pag jan ka naman nagtapos, at ikaw na!
