Matteo Guidicelli says Maja Salvador is the last woman he will ever love



Umaapaw ang pagmamahal sa isa't-isa nina Maja Salvador at Matteo Guidicelli sa presscon para sa lalabas nilang movie under Star Cinema Inc. at Starlight Productions, ang My Cactus Heart.



Ang presscon ay ginanap nuong Sabado nang hapon, January 14, sa Dolce Latte Restaurant.



Consistent si Matteo sa pagsabi nuong mga nakaraan niyang interview na mahal niya si Maja.



Pero nitong presscon para nga sa kanilang pelikula, isang linya ang pinakawalan ng young actor na ikinagulat ng entertainment press: Si Maja daw ang pinakahuling babae para sa kanya.



Hindi naman nagpatalbog si Maja. Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, binuksan niya ang sarili niya sa press at sinabing si Matteo ang lalaking gusto niyang makasama nang matagal.



Kulang na lang ay seremonya at nagmistulang kasalan ang presscon dahil sa palitan ng love messages ng dalawa.



At sa interview ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Matteo matapos ang presscon proper, nilinaw pa niya ang nararamdamang pag-ibig sa dalagang aktres.



Gagawin daw niya ang lahat para kay Maja.



"We've gone through a lot together.



"Ang dami na rin naming pinagdaanan at alam kong marami pa kaming pagdadaanan sa buhay.



"I accept everything as a challenge. God really has purpose for us and he'll lead the way," aniya.



Anong reaksyon mo nang sinabi ni Maja na ikaw ang gusto niya sa habang buhay?



"Talagang na-touch ako. Hindi niya sinasabi yan sa public.



"She keeps that to herself. I'm very, very proud that I have someone who's proud of me."



Sinabi na ba ni Maja sa iyo na sana ikaw na nga?



"Oo, pag may mga moments na kaming dalawa lang. May mga sweet moments kami. She always reminds me."



BECAUSE HE'S ITALIAN. Are you vocal about your feelings for each other because you have a movie to promote?



"Ako vocal talaga ako e. I think that's from my Italian side.



"Gusto ko talagang magmahal. I really love loving people.



"I care. So, I'm very open. I don't lie and I'm honest. Yun!

First time mo bang magmahal nang ganito katindi?



"Yes. Hindi nga po ako sanay, e. Minsan sinasabi ko kay Maja, 'Alam mo hindi talaga ako sanay. Hindi totoo ito, dream ito.'



"Kahit itong movie na ito dream ito. Hindi ko ini-expect na mangyayari ito sa buhay ko."



Bakit? Anong meron kay Maja na wala sa mga nakaraang mong relasyon?



"Crush ko talaga si Maja nuong nakita ko [siya] sa billboards and posters.



"Tapos hindi ako makapaniwala na magiging kami, magkakaroon kami ng relationship. Talagang dream, e. Iba, e."



Kayo bang dalawa pantay yung pag-ibig ninyo sa isa't-isa? Marami ang nagsasabing ikaw ang mas in love kay Maja.



"Because I'm the more vocal one. Maja keeps a lot to herself. She doesn't say much."



Feeling mo pantay naman ang pagmamahalan ninyo sa isa't-isa?



"Opo."



Baka ikaw ang mas masaktan pag naghiwalay kayo dahil ikaw yung vocal sa relasyon ninyo?



"Hindi naman. Hindi naman dahil alam ko na kaming dalawa lang. Nakikita ko talaga yung effort niya... maliit na bagay she tells you that she loves you."



Ang laki ng ipinagbago ni Maja dahil nuon, hindi ito nagsasalita pag tinatanong tungkol sa kanyang love life. Anong ginawa mo at naging open si Maja sa nararamdaman niya sa iyo?



"Hindi ko alam e. I'm just myself lang."

Matteo on working with Maja

CEBUANO actor Matteo Guidicelli shared it was uncomfortable at first to work with real life sweetheart Maja Salvador.

After the thanksgiving press conference of "My Binondo Girl", Sun.Star was able to talk to the actor about his upcoming Star Cinema movie "My Cactus Heart".

The said project is Matteo's first big screen project with the Kapamilya Network and his first movie team-up with Maja.

"I'm so scared but I feel very, very blessed. It is really a privilege."

Matteo added that at first it was uncomfortable with him sharing the scenes with Maja because they know each other too well and eyes are on them.

"Sa umpisa nakakahiya eh, pero after a while I adjusted. It is difficult to work with someone you have a relationship with than a stranger but I learned a lot from her."

The actor recalled that shooting their kissing scene started a bit awkward for both of them.

"Nahiya talaga ako. Sabi ko 'Maj nahiya talaga ako dito' kasi may camera may ibang taong nakatingin sa amin."

But with their director's help, Matteo said they both delivered the performance expected of them.

Matteo also said their team-up gave them more time to know each other and discover new things in their relationship.

"Araw araw may discoveries sa aming dalawa. I learned a lot from her, she's a very wonderful person."

The actor is also looking forward to spend more time with Maja, and hopeful that she's the right one for him.

"Maja is a person who loves other people first before herself. She's very caring and selfless. She's always giving, taking care of people and very generous."

"In my heart I'm sure (that she's the one) but we don't know what will happen. Basta pag may love diyan eh ipaglaban natin. Everything I can ask for, she has it," he ended.

Kagigiliwan ng mga bagets ang pelikulang ‘My Cactus Heart’

PALABAS na ang My Cactus Heart sa January 25 sa lahat ng mga sinehan sa buong Pilipinas. Actually, kaabang-abang ito para sa mga bagets dahil ang kwento nito ay para sa mga young generations (puede rin sa mga may edad dahil ang pag-ibig ay walang pinipiling edad) na kay agang na trauma sa pag-ibig.

Pero sabi nga ng isa sa bida ng pelikulang ito na si Matteo Guidicelli kay Maja Salvador, “Walang matimtimang birhen sa masigasig na mangingibig” o kaya, “Walang matigas na tinapay sa mainit na kape.” ‘yan ay hango sa pelikula noon ni Eddie Garcia. Hehehe!

Kaya kahit sa totoong buhay ay nadale ni Matteo si Maja. Pero sampung taon pa raw magtitiyaga ang binata bago magpakasal sa kanya ang dalaga. In the maintime, watch na muna kayo ng movie nila. Ito ay handog ng Star Cinema, sa direksyon ni Enrico S. Santos.

Matteo, Xian and Maja in a thorny love story

MANILA, Philippines — Love is believed to be a “thorny” issue! “Nakakasakit, nakakasugat, nakakatinik.” Now if the one you love believes in that, can there still be a happy ending?

This will be tackled by “My Cactus Heart,” top-billed by Matteo Guidicelli, Xian Lim and Maja Salvador. This is about a young woman (Maja as Sandy) from a dysfunctional family who doesn’t believe in “happily ever after.”

“This is Maja at her best,” went the verdict of those who’ve seen the rushes of “My Cactus Heart.”

As for Matteo, “My Cactus Heart” is his first starring role. As Karlo, we can now all see why Matteo could just be the next important male lead star.

Introducing in the movie is “it boy” Xian Lim as Bene, one of the two men who will try to win over Sandy’s heart.

An exciting love story combined with fresh casting, “My Cactus Heart” is directed by Enrico Santos opening in over 100 theaters on Jan. 25.
