Hi I am engaged to my boyfriend and everything is well and we are planning to get married next year. The problem that I have and I know I cant do anything about it is that we have the same surname.. Yes, you've heard it right. We just met here in UK so, as far as I know we are not related. I have traced until our great great grandfathers and it's different on both sides but our both came in the same area. I just want to ask you if you have encountered anything like this because I'm scared of what other people might say and I really don't know what to do with my name and with the marriage contract papers. Hope you can help me. I just want to know that I am not alone with this kind of situation although it is really rare...

afaik, wala naman problema dyan as long as you are not really related whatsoever. i personally know someone na same ang surname nya at nang boyfriend nya and they got married. so middle name at surname ngayon ng girl including their kids eh pareho.
