I'll just place this thread in for all questions by the new batch of ID112

Feel free to ask any question about DLSU here Please do read the FAQs though before anything else

First and foremost, congratulations on passing DLSU!

Some quick FAQs:

Where will we study in DLSU (what bldg)?
- For the majority of your freshman year, you'll be staying in Andrew Bldg but sometime during your third term and beyond, you'll be going to these buildings:

L### - La Salle Building (College of Business & School of Economics)
Y### -Yuchengco Building (College of Business & School of Economics)
J### - Saint Joseph Building (College of Science)
M### - Miguel Building (College of Liberal Arts)
V### - Velasco Building (College of Engineering)
G### - Gokongwei Building (College of Computer Studies)
A#### - Andrew Building (College of Education, Freshmen)
C### - STRC Building (Mostly College of Science but you may have your lab classes here) (Thanks for the info!)
E### - Enrique Razon Sports Complex (Sports)

Do note that you're not limited to these buildings for your studies - these are just the typical areas you'll be studying in DLSU (a COB student may end up going to SJ Building for a class, etc)


What's our block section?
-You won't find out until you're fully enrolled in DLSU and during your LPEP
The usual codes are (included are your batch names):

Block1-20+ = BLAZE2015 (College of Business)
Blocks 21-23 (from ID111 experience) = EXCEL2015 (School of Economics)
S11-S20+ = CATCH2T16 (College of Computer Studies)
N40+-N60+(?) = FOCUS2012 (College of Science)
LR (pure Liberal Arts course) / LC (Lia-Comm Course) = FAST2011 (College of Liberal Arts)
L80+ = EDGE2012 (College of Education)
EA-EW(?) = 67th ENG (College of Engineering) <- can an eng verify this I forgot till what letter haha)



Where can I eat? (hey I asked this question when i was a frosh haha)
-Generally you have a lot of options but assuming you mean in-campus, your options are:
Animo Food Haus <- don't ask the spelling ganun talaga sulat nila (currently being renovated but should be back in the LS bldg) They're in SPS 2nd right now but they should be back in LS when you come in
Zaide (it's the one by the corner of SJ bldg and Miguel Bldg
Lacasita <- not sure about the spelling of this one (6th Flr andrew, 2nd flr Razon)

outside DLSU, you have a whole range of options - just go around the area



I got accepted into DLSU but I want to enroll in another course. What should I do?
-During your enrollment, you may opt to change your course. Please ask help from the Admissions office on this regard.
Now in the event that you've already enrolled and while in your stay in DLSU, you want to change, you may opt to shift during your Third term in DLSU



Any major events coming to DLSU soon?
-Aside from the Centennial Closing Ceremonies (June 16) as of date none. Will update this soon



How many days per week are our classes?
-As of today due to the Rationalized Classroom Utilization is still on-going, assume that you will be going to DLSU 6 times a day. This is still subject to change with the output of this school year.


Help! I didn't get accepted into DLSU but I really wanna get in. What should I do?
-There's a downloadable form in the DLSU Website for reconsiderations. Everything you need to know is there

Passed my 2nd Choice w/c is AB-ISE pero wala talaga akong interest sa IS. parang wala na akong maisip na iba tapos sinasabi naman nung mga classmates ko na maganda daw yun kaya yun na lang sinulat ko. Was expecting na mapapasa ko yung 1st choice ko w/c is BSA. Pwede pa po kaya ako maka-enroll to BSA? Yun kasi talaga pangarap ko LOL. Pero seriously, gusto ko talaga maging CPA. Tiyaka kinakabahan po talaga ako, parang feeling ko magiging loner ako since sa tingin ko walang mag la-lasalle saming batch and from Mindanao pa naman ako, baka isipin ng mga tao terorista ako. ) joke. Mahiyain din ako. :S
