Konting basa brader.

My parents had been forcing me to go abroad even before my graduation, but I am still here in the Philippines. Now, go figure!

As long as I am having an entertaining career here in the Philippines, I would force myself to work abroad permanently or for a longer duration of time. But I am open to options in going overseas but definitely not mainly for money.

Mukhang malalim pinaghuhugutan mo brad! Masama na yan! Ay teka, di pala *** yun! Yung jj_____ pala yun na aktibong aktibo sa thread na ito!

what do you mean it's the other way around? sensya ah i actually don't know much about SGV and EY . naririnig ko *** sa iba kasi na iisa lang sila.. so by saying "the other way around", you mean one of them is better than the other?

  17. #37

EY is the Global Auditing Firm and SGV is the local affiliate so it's improper to say "still SGV auditing firm" yung EY Laos, when in reality SGV = EY Philippines.

Local companies kasi mas kilala sa name na SGV pero pag MNCs, EY din talaga ang reference lalo na pag Global account.

AH... Oo nga pala SGV stands for Sycip Gorres Velayo and they are Filipinos.. HAHAHA! Di naman pwedeng sila may ari ng EY lol oo nga tama ka. nagets ko na HAHAHA. pero it's still okay to work in EY naman in other countries diba? Maganda namang company un?

Audit Methodology is Global. Platform is essentially adopted by the Affiliate local company. Even the Accounting and Auditing Standards are somewhat standardized. Siguro ang medyo iba lang is the working environment because of the culture differences.

Like from what I experienced late last year when I was assigned to an internal audit engagement of EY Singapore for 1 month. Mas aggressive/assertive yung mga nakasama ko dun unlike in the case dito sa Pinas na ako yung aggressive/assertive.
