Where did you apply? I asked the guard from globe glorietta 2 and he said that the waiting list is different in each globe center.. meaning if you want to have a shorter application time/delivery, you should choose the globe center with less orders.. can somebody confirm this?
I get 2 days max, minimal surfing, texts and calls. 1 day lang pag heavy surfing, usually naka-wifi all day.
Sa akin naman, di ko maximize ang galaxy s3 ko haha, pang call and text lang; I usually use my netbook for internet surfing and for gaming naman I have my quad core desktop
dapat feature phone nalang kinuha ko ;D
before i got my s3, i went to sm sucat, sm bicutan, sm southmall, alabang town center and festival mall globe centers.
the first one i went to was the one at atc. you know who called and actually bothered to do anything about it? it was the one at ATC. and no, it wasn't because they were the first one that i requested a phone from. it was because there was one person in all those globe centers that i went to that actually bothered to give a damn. it was the girl i talked to at the ATC branch.
waited around 7 weeks before i got my unit. (including the time i was calling globe practically everyday at every hour on the hour to annoy those subcontracted call centers WHO NEVER DO THEIR JOB). before i finally decided to go to a globe center than wait for NEVER from a call center's reply for it's still in processing.
and yes you can go to several branches and ask for a unit over and over. it doesn't matter if you go to all the globe centers in metro manila, they'll process it and you'll get a unit from the first one who does their job properly. i actually had a bunch of calls from all the other branches saying that my unit was already available coz i had it reserved from practically all over the muntiparlas area. i just told them that i got a unit na from atc. just goes to show you that they're not a centralized system. each of them work independently.
i hate bpos. i hate call centers. i'll never work for one and i'll never step in one, much less go near one.
to those who are from call centers and wanna bother defending themselves, i won't give a crap about what you say. so sorry. don't bother.

I guess ATC globe employees are more customer friendly because of the target market and clientele of the mall itself.
meron bang prepaid promo ang globe that has unlimited data? lol. or postpaid add on?
Speaking from personal experience you are better off with Postpaid mobile internet when it comes to Globe. There's a big difference when it comes to speed between Postpaid and Prepaid. You'd also have to research whether your area is covered by Globe's HSPA+ network.
i got the 500 peso plan addon for `1 gig of data for month.. i think it is more than sufficient. facebook doesnt load quick enough unless you are in an hspa area anyway.il
i also still have my blackberry with unli data anyway. pagdodownload ka ng anything you will be connecting via wifi din naman
tweeting is a chore btw. what takes me 5 seconds on the blackberry, takes me a minute to do with the galaxy.
what i do like is that there are apps to download. unlike blackberry. lol. however, a couple of apps i was looking forward to download sana when i get my android, NOT AVAILABLE in the philippines.
teamcoco, and rotten tomatoes app.
the twitter app is definitely better on the android. the facebook app is good din. so are the mobile sites.
yun lang nga, ang typing is a real chore.
i liked the hd youtube videos rin.
^ Takes some getting used to but you might be better off typing in landscape mode on the S III. Unfortunately this would mean using 2 hands. I removed the twitter and facebook apps on my phone and I don't remember if you can type in landscape for both apps, but for Chrome or Firefox or even Dolphin HD you can. Youtube HQ app is amazing but requires fast HSPA+ data speeds (there's an option to cache videos over Wifi, though I haven't tried it). Here at Malate area thankfully Globe postpaid has very decent speeds.
