Actor and singer Kim Hyun Joong shows his readiness for his upcoming new work.

Kim Hyun Joong attended the event held by casual clothing brand Hangten Korea on the 13 of June in a cafe at Guanghwamun, entitled ‘SAVE THE EARTH’.

On this day, Kim Hyun Joong disclosed information regarding his upcoming new drama ‘City Conquest, “On July 4, I will start my new Japanese album promotiona activities, and in the middle of July, I will begin filming in Japan as well” as well as “The first scene is going to be filmed near the sea, I think. Until then, the sea must clear up, and I’ll be able to show everyone a trouble-free clean complexion”, said Kim Hyun Joong with a smile.

His present activities and condition was also mentioned. Kim Hyun Joong, who recently finished his china fanmeetings said, “It seems like everyone thinks I’ll be playing if I don’t have any activities in Korea. Even my housekeeper ahjumoni (ahjumma) asked me if I’m working or not. To be honest, I’ve been working throughout the year.”

“I’ve been receiving acting lessons during my spare time, and I’ll be attending action schools soon. I’ll be showing a brand new side of myself through ‘City Conquest’.

On this day as well, pictures of more than 100 fans turning up at the event in order to see Kim Hyun Joong were also taken.

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong shared his thoughts on starting a new project.

Kim Hyun Joong attended an event for casual brand Hang Ten Korea‘s ‘Save The Earth‘ campaign held at a café in Seoul on June 13th.

It was here that he opened up about taking up a role in the new drama series, ‘City Conquest‘. “I will begin my new album promotions in Japan starting July 4th, and will begin filming in mid-July,” he said.

He also updated fans on what he’s been up to. The singer who recently wrapped up a fan meeting tour in China remarked, “People think I’m resting if I’m not working in Korea. My cleaning lady even asked if I wasn’t working. To be honest, I work all year round. I receive instrument lessons, and I’m going to start attending action acting school. I will make sure to show you a new side of myself through ‘City Conquest’.”

‘City Conquest’ was originally an adult comic about main character Baek Mir (to be played by Kim Hyun Joong) who lives his life resenting the father that left his mother. He seeks revenge against the society that drove his family to ruins.

On June 13th at 11am, casual brand Hang Ten Korea held the ‘SAVE THE EARTH REFORM CLASS’ with Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong at Pure Arena in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Hang Ten model Kim Hyun Joong personally participated in the ‘Reform Class’ presenting a unique and useful reform piece using a T-shirt. It was noticeable that there was a crowd of Japanese fans among all the fans gathered to see Kim Hyun Joong in person.

‘SAVE THE EARTH REFORM CLASS’ is a part of an environmental effort that is rooted in the meaning of reusing the clothes that are not worn by reforming them into something useful to protect the environment.
