Chapter V

It was the Absolute Boyfriend farewell party. Hyesun couldnt be happier from all the surprises she received from the cast and crew. It was overwhelming. She would truly miss these people. They really made her feel so at home in Taiwan. It was really difficult to say goodbye, they were very welcoming. And she was really glad that she had this opportunity to work abroad when some 'things' are not well in Korea. With 'him'. And before she could stop herself, she was already crying.

Her personal assistant, Kim Min An, being attentive to Hyesun as always, looked at Hyesun with full of concern.

'Im fine. Really. I just love these g-guys.'

'Yah! Hyesun, this is the first time I saw you cried in front of others. You dont easily cry like that! Aren't you tired of crying yet? Its Minho again, isnt it?!'

Hyesun recalled what just happened few days ago.

When the 'news' broke out. She woke up the following day feeling so restless, though she had a long sleep. She didnt want to get up yet but Min An was making noise all over the room and suddenly felt that her head was killing her. 'Min An...would you down to keep it low?..Im still sleepy....'

'And you have a runny nose too! Im deliberately making noise because you need to get up now. Hyesun we're going to have a long day today since we're flying back to Taiwan tomorrow. Your manager is already downstairs'

Hyesun suddenly remembers that they need to go back to Taiwan to do more shoots and decided that it would be best to get up and ready for the day.

'My head hurts..'

'and why am I not surprised?! you were crying the whole day...-y-yesterday'

Min An took a medicine from a box and gave it too Hyesun. 'here take this'

'Thanks'

'Ugh! You're hot!'..Min An returned to a small box again, and took the thermometer. 'let me check on you'

'Im fine..Its j-just really hot in here..' Hyesun was refusing to be check but Min An ignored her and put the thermometer in her mouth. '37.9..You have a fever...c-can you make it Hyesun?'

'Of Course! Over-reacting! Im fine, honestly!'

'Fine! If you say so!' Min An stared at her friend who is now sitting and staring at a blank space too....

'There's a porridge for you, finish it so you can take your medicine'

'Min An...has Mom called again?'

'Dont worry now..I spoke to her yesterday..she called again this morning but she said its better not to wake you up'

Hyesun did not say anything and walked towards the table with the porridge Min An prepared a while ago.

'Thanks for this. Really warms me up.
And for the fruits'

'Daniel sent it this morning.'

'He did?..W-Why didnt you wake me up?..I should have thanked him..'

'he didnt want to, he said you needed to sleep. But he checked on you before he left.'

Hyesun could not think of anything to say. It was a 'heavy' day yesterday. Hyesun realized how she got into her couch last night. Daniel carried her. Was it heavy for him too? Seeing her like that?

'He specifically instructed me to re-heat the porridge before serving it to you. And to make sure that you finish the fruits.....' Min An was obviously trying to 'imply' something...

'I wonder what time he woke up today just to prepare your porridge?'

Hyesun took her phone, turned it on and started reading the messages from her inbox. And she saw Daniel's message sent this morning. Two messages.

'Hey, Min An said its going to be a busy day for you today? just take it easy ok?'

'Eunbiah, if you have time, try to check your twitter, its flooded with messages from your fans

Just that and Hyesun opened her twitter account and saw the messages from her fans, sent yesterday and today. She was....overjoyed. Hyesun decided to twit something for her fans. She wanted them to know that she's perfectly fine, busy and....moving on...'something like that' Hyesun said under her breath, but her eyes are still swollen from crying yesterday. She posted one photo of her, busy editing for Peach Tree but she refused to show her face.

'Hey! Are you still here in Taiwan?' Min An asked Hyesun when Hyesun seemed to be at lost in her thoughts.

'Thinking of him again?' Min An added sarcastically.

'No. Its not that. O-Or maybe yes. We're going home tomorrow. A-and I will have a lot of time to t-think about h-him, now that..' Hyesun coudnt finish her statement.

'Hey! Get busy with Peach Tree then! You still need to do some editing and arent you excited for PCAP filming in Australia?'

'I am! Can't wait in fact.' Hyesun finally smiled upon hearing the loads of work waiting for her in Korea.

'Good! Because I am too! Australia!!!....and.....' Min An smiles are getting bigger and bigger.

'And?....what?!'

'You still have The Musical Presscon...decided on what to wear yet?' Min An asked teasingly.

Hyesun laughed. 'tst!' She looked like she was disgusted with Min An but she felt the excitement too. 'What's with the smile?!...Not yet!...But Im thinking of something...like pants? and sweatshirt?'

'YAH! HYESUN!' and both of them laughed.

Today is the day. The presscon of The Musical. It was actually long everdue since they finished filming months ago, though they shot some remaining scenes just weeks ago, while she was in Taiwan for Absolute Boyfriend, and had to go back to Korean for few days. Hyesun had attended several press conferences already and she always feels nervous everytime.

'Someone is smiling.....and very excited!' Min An told HyeSun while they were inside a car on the way to the press conference.

Hyesun, who was looking at the view turned her attention to now smiling widely Min An. Hyesun took a glance at her manager who was sitting in front of the car, and hit Min An.

'Wha!..what?!...I wasnt smiling, I-I was..I saw something on the street a while ago!'

'Yeah right!....then why are you blushing furiously right now?!'

Is she really blushing?!

'Im not! Its just the make up!..stop thinking too much! You're crazy!'

'You woke up early today, looking crazy laughing at everything, stu- stu-stuttering everytime I caught you smiling, and eating chocolates the whole day!...yeah yeah Hyesun-sshi! Im just thinking too much!'

Hyesun wanted to argue back but she couldnt think of anything to stop Min An. She decided to 'choke' Min An instead. They laughed so loud, Hyesun's manager took a 'disgusting look' at them which made Hyesun and Min An giggled evern harder.

Does it really show? She has attended several presscons already and get nervous each time, but today feels kinda different. She's not just excited, she's ecstatic! They were filming the drama since last year, and really worked hard on it. She even took voice and dance lessons for her role. If there is something Hyesun is not confident about, its the two things: Dancing and Singing! She feels like fainting everytime she's on stage. An odd, specially for an actress like her. YG President once told her to stop dreaming of becoming a singer and concentrate on acting instead. The memory of this conversation she had with her boss always makes Hyesun grin.

And finally The Musical will be airing three days from now. She feels really glad that her fans will be able to watch it on tv. Not to mention her parents, who always get amazed everytime she has a drama.

But is it only for these reasons? So why is she freakingly excited for today's press con?! What makes this presscon different? Its been a week since she last saw Daniel. The last time was not a pleasant one. It was the day when the 'news' broke out. Although Daniel calls her everyday since, but they were not able to see each other after that. She went back to Taiwan for few days shooting and farewell dinner. But she had some free time when she returned to Korea. She was actually expecting and hoping that Daniel would ask her to hang out or visit her at the Cafe. Was he that busy with that music album he's working on with his friends? Daniel managed to send him flowers though when she arrived in Korea but he never mentioned anything about seeing each other.

Although she's been missing him as hell, Hyesun did not dare to ask Daniel to see her. She was beggining to feel annoyed about Daniel's 'un-appearance' at the cafe lately but all of that is gone now. Daniel Choi sent her a message this morning..

'Cant wait to see you later Eunbi-a!'

She is going to see him later!
