You guys are over reacting.. If anything else.. china is not warfreak. Given china has a history of unjustice war during the WWII, you can't blame them na they are just preparing to do anything now so the history will noe repeats itself.

What is wrong in preparing a strong military? Bakit hidni kayo umaangal sa mga nakalamang nuclear warheads in the US? Dito pa kayo umaangal sa bansa na just doing their work in maintaining a strong country. US went to war in vietnam and now in war with Iraq, killing hindreds of civillians and still doing it today.. Bakit hindi yan ang kinakatakutan nyo? Lagi ba kelangan mag kiss @ss sa US para sa tinginnyo safe country nyo? Hindi ba pwede stand up for yourself and create a strong nation?

And please stop believing what the western media portray China all the time.. Just come he and see for yourself. In a span of 20 or so years, a lot of people were able to get a job, able to own a house. Millions of chinese has risen from being poor..

Alam nyo ba yun tungkol sa tibet issue na yan.. OA lang masyado western media. China was never mistreating them. For the last years, ang dami rin pera ginastos China to better their lives.*

Take xinjiang as an example. They are a minority group here.. In other words Chinese muslim people sila. They don't have to pay tax like the rest of Han chinese. I didn't know about this until i ask my landlord kasi sa kanto lagi after 9pm lumalabas mga nagbebenta ng streetfood and mga ukay ukay. Pero what surprise me is this bbq guy who is a chinese muslim was ale to oepnly sell his bbq on the street as early as 6pm at hindi sya hinuhuli ng mga pulis. Lagi ko nakikita ni raid ang mga street vendor pero sya, tuloy pa rin tinda nya.. I got very very curious and yun magbabayad na ng rent napatanong ko sa landlord ko kung bakit yun mga chinese muslim hindi sila ginagalaw ng mga pulis.

My landlord explained.. Xinjiang or tibetans are a minority group. Hindi sila kelangan magbayad ng tax like the rest of the population na Han chinese. The govt gave them that benefits para may hanap buhay sila. A long as wag sila makipag away or manggulo, they are allowed to do that for living. A lot of han chinese finds this not fair but that is the law. Pero sinisita rin sila kapag may mga events like the olympics or the expo, kasi ayaw ng govt na mangulo sila because the west thinks na they are mistreated and baka mag riot.. And China doesn't like riot, they like to keep things under control.. Pero in normal days kapag walang events, hinahayaan sila mag benta...

In fairness masarap bbq nila and they are friendly people... Kapag honey melon season, lagi marami ka makikita mga muslim vendor nagbebenta sa sidewalk nyan.. Their honey melon is one of the best melon...

We can always print US dollars to pay it off. US external debt from China is not as big as you think. China needs more of the US than the other way around.

Bakit, gaaano ba kahirap mag drill sa Spratly's?? Budget to feed people and fix roads?? All countries have poor and homeless people. That includes the US and China.

What's is legally someone else's territory should be theirs, regardless on who can develop it better. It's not China's. Period.

The US was in "The Great Depression" before going into WWII and even was able to develop the Atomic bomb. Vietnam defeated the US, several years later.
