I am an the usual factory worker. Not an engineer nor a researcher. I don't have any business and the bread winner of the family. But I was able to afford to buy a condo unit though I don't have an attorney in fact. All my transactions are in my name.
By the way, I don't have allowances nor bonuses as well.

Chieffy Caligdong - Azkals booter and PAF enlisted personnel - got a 100% discount on a brand new latest model Kia Rio subcompact.

Anyway, using consumer products isn't really a very good analogy. Such products can only be available in the market when they are already completed, and that the consumers are completely sure that they can get their hands on them immediately. People investing on condominiums, on the other hand, run the risk of their investment going down the drain if the construction stops for some reason. That's why pre-selling is always cheaper - the company has to find ways to entice people to take a huge risk and buy.

I admit, I'm not sure if we got a discount, but I'm definitely sure the reason why we own a Megaworld condominium in the middle of the MBD right now had been because my parents got the unit at a really good pre-selling price, at a really good payment plan to boot. And it's not a studio, either.
