Frankly I don't know... probably nothing. I've been there before, he came back and it's a good thing we still managed to repair the friendship. I still consider him as my best friend up until now.

assuming that my bestfriend is a guy, i'll ask a very pretty girl to mislead him into thinking that she really likes him a lot. and then after a short or long period of time (depending on my mood), i'll ask the girl to dump him!

How about taking the diplomatic turn? how about forgiving him/her after a talking it over since you're best friends...Since you guys are best friends...you should understand each other after a petty quarrel...and not thinking of exacting revenge...Everything can be done in a diplomatic way...especially in saving your friendship!

well, make your friend realize that he/she did something wrong. pero don't put his/her spirits on a very low level... hate the sin, love the sinner sabi nga nila. then learn from whatever mistakes happened and move on. forgive and forget.
but it's easier said than done e. at least, try.
