Matters TAKEN UP and ACTED UPON by the Board of Trustees at its Meeting of 19 July 2012

1. APPROVED in principle the offering of proposed new courses, namely: BS in Medical Technology; BS in Pharmacy; BS in Radiology Therapy and BS in Respiratory Therapy and short courses in the College of Nursing

2. APPROVED the high priority projects, namely preparation of – 1) Engineering Design of Fire & Alarm System; 2) Structural Assessment of the Buildings; and 3) Electrical Audit of the Buildings for P6.2 Million

3. APPROVED the graduation and conferment of the degrees to the following students - Master of Science in Asian Health Practices (Thesis Track) – Magada, Daryl Gene Nanale; Master of Arts in Nursing Major in Nursing Service (Thesis Track) – Quitevis, Ritcher Sabado; Master of Science in Nursing Major in Diabetes Nursing Practice (Thesis Track) – Villanueva, Corina Dayanan; and Master of Science in Public Health (Thesis Track) – Manuel, Celine Ivie Tuanggang

4. NOTED the following contracts:
4.a) Contract of Affiliation between UERMMMCI AND Kanlungan ni Maria
4.b) Memorandum of Understanding between The Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) and UERMMMCI

Ako Based sa narinig ko 1,600 applied sa College of Medicine ng UE, 700 ang pumasa sa exam at nag qualify for interview at 450 lang ang tinanggap.

Based din sa narinig ko sa mga taga UERM malapit na simulan yung renovation ng Facade ng UERM, tinatapos lang muna yung renovations sa loob. Ang balita ko tatanggalin yung car park sa harap ng Hospital at ilalandscape nalang.

Yung mga cafe at restaurants sa ground floor ng smdc sta. mesa puro taga UERM ang nag-da-dine-in, napansin ko lang at madami pa ring magaganda at hotties! Gusto ko mag-med

So totoo pala talaga na majority of Med students at UERM are UP graduates sunod ateneo then ust. Sana naman yung mga taga UE-Manila BS Bio mag med sa RM after they graduate hehe.

Ang problema kasi hindi well known ang BS Bio ng UE Manila kaya kokonti lang ang students. Ang pagkakaalam ko nga 1 section per school year ang incoming freshmen natin sa BS Bio na program at Kadalasan dun ay papunta ng College of Dentistry at Hindi para Mag Med.

Good news lang recently naging 2 sections na daw ang freshmen ng BS Bio ng UE. Ang Hindi pa din maganda, papunta pa din ang majority sa College of Dentistry, Hindi sa College of Medicine. hehehe!

Ang nakikita kong solusyon dyan mag open ng BS Bio sa UERM. Ang problema naman kulang talaga sa classrooms dun.
