Question Study Tip For Accountancy Student! [help]

Ano pang ibang effective way sa pag study. HELP HELP me please! Ayokong mawala scholarship ko! Ang laki kasi ng passing rate namin

hello po, I'm already an accountant and I've got my certification last year, but I think it's not the right profession for me, actually my first choice was comsci but I didn't have the funds to take that course that's why I took accountancy. If your asking for some tips on how to study accounting in the most effective way, I have some and I'm sure that it could help you in the long-run. First you must be determined to take this profession, then about the study tips just rearrange the sequence of your study habit of accounting... that is, read, solve then review. Before going to the classroom make sure that you've study your notes and have tried to solve some of the sample problems in the book so that when your professor discuss the topic inside the classroom it would be easy for you to coup up with the lesson. When you're at home review what you've learned from your instructor then try to solve problems related to it again. Use reviewer books if you must so that you can checked your answers after solving. I'll give you other tips just mail me if you have time because what you've learned from your instructors are just formalities which are different from the ways of solving problems in the review center, actually the standard time to solve long problems is 3mins only. I hope this simple tips will help you.

Buti ka pa you have the motivation to read in advance. Sana ako din. Hahahaha! It's up to you kung paano mo sila i-cocombine to get the perfect taste. And I think, sa ginagawa mong good study habits maaachieve mo yung target mo just keep up the good work

hello first year palang po ako, and what our prof said:
"Be Prepared when you enter the class", mas mabuti po kasi na you have read in advance, para minimal nalang yung difficulty on a certain topic and regarding long problems po, there are some shortcuts that you need to find, and you can find it by analyzing and looking some ways to minimize the effort and time or formulate your own formula (If possible) hehehe, mga tips po yan mula sa profs ko from first year. . . :-)

Yap that's true, You need to practice solving problems in just 3 mins or maybe less than that, except in auditing problems. To do this you must be familiarize yourself to every PFRS/PAS related to each account.

Sabi nga ni Art William - "I'm not telling you it is going to be easy - I'm telling you it's going to be worth it".

    I agree with accidpex..
    READ, READ and READ...
also, learn to love accounting.. and remember the basic rules..
A = L + E.. also, use the entries.. key to understanding accounting is mastering the basics..

Sir Larry Tan already mentioned this in other threads, but I also applied it myself: Take notes.. not only during class discussions, but even when you're reading a book at home. Make it colorful if you want. Basta make it your very own When I was still a student, I solved problems on my own and timed myself. Budget for problems must be 3 minutes per problem. So if I would target to solve 20 problems, I will give myself one hour (60 minutes) to answer the problems. I set my cellphone's timer, tapos I really stop (kahit di ko natapos) pag tumunog na timer. And then I would check my work, and then put a smiley pag 75% and up ang aking score, and a sad face pag below 75% ang score ko. Tapos I would examine the items I got wrong and find out bakit ako nagkamali. I hope this helps.

Isipin mo nalang HAM yan! ...........
