Senator Sergio Osmeña bared anomalies in the government's purchase of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) during President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's term.

Osmeña alleged that Global Air Services, a company identified with businessman Roberto Ongpin, benefitted from the sale of MRT bonds to the government. But Ongpin denied being involved in the transaction.
