Wow! Just when I though na yung interview na ni Toni with Direk Paul ang pinaka the best, then came her interview with THE Joey De Leon. Super love it:love Genuine yung admiration nila for each other. And knowing Joey De Leon who is known for being prank and who speaks his mind, as a fan sobrang nakaka proud and at the same time humbling yung mga praises niya for Tin. Feel mo talaga na sobrang proud siya sa lahat ng achieve ni Tin. And the same way Toni is so thankful kay Mr Joey De Leon. Parang mag ama lang sila. Before the interview started, kinakabahan ako para kay Tin pero it turned out to be better than fine! Sobrang na-touch ako sa ginawa ni Joey De Leon na yun for Tin, yung binigyan niya ng Coffee Table Book ng Eat Bulaga si Tin tapos pina-turn niya pa dun sa page na yun kung saan nandun si Tin! When Tin was crying, I was crying with her. Ang cute lang talaga ni Tin umiyak kapag na-tatouch siya.

Yung kwentuhan nila para nga lang nasa sala sila. Parang mag-ama/mag-tiyuhing nag-uusap. Tapos yung mga papuri nila sa isa't isa, hay grabe! My heart is swelling with joy for Tin. That interview was sincere, funny, heart-warming lahat na! Favorite lines ko ni Joey de Leon for Tin are:
"Alam nyo po si Toni Gonzaga bukod sa magaling maghost to! iba! iba ang sexy nito!" (Iba talaga!)

Wonderful segment on The Buzz ang Toni/Joey. Nakakatuwa ang dalawa and I am very happy for Toni because finally she can put behind her now the notion that Joey is still mad at her for moving to ABS. As a artist for 4 decades, Joey should know that hers was really a career move. Look at where she is now! Toni never ceases to acknowledge Joey as one of her most important mentors in the business. I really hope that the two of them will have a project together very soon.

On The Buzz today, we see two beautiful girls shedding tears...one because of happiness, and the other, heartbreak. I cried with both of them. I wish them both the best that life can offer.

Joey tells Toni: I'm not mad at you

MANILA, Philippines - Veteran comedian Joey de Leon made it clear that he is not mad at former "Eat Bulaga" co-host Toni Gonzaga, who left the noontime show several years ago to transfer to ABS-CBN.

Gonzaga, one of the hosts of "The Buzz," turned emotional when de Leon gave her a bag containing an "Eat Bulaga" coffee table book.

The said book featured an old photo of Gonzaga with the hosts of the show.

"Dati galit ka sa akin eh. Ngayon di ka na galit sa akin," she told de Leon, who guested for the first time on "The Buzz" on Sunday.

De Leon replied, "Hindi, ano ka ba. Di lang tayo nagkaintindihan. Hindi ako nagagalit sa'yo noon. Binibiro lang kita."

"O tignan mo naman, nung umalis ka umasenso ka," he added, drawing laughter from the audience. "Kung di ka lumayas sa 'Bulaga' edi baka sa EB Babes ka na."

The veteran comedian admitted, though, that they were sad when Gonzaga left the show.

"Siyempre nalungkot kami nung nawala ka. Pero ngayon, napapanood pa rin naman kita eh," he said.

Gonzaga is currently part of "Happy Yipee Yehey," ABS-CBN's noontime variety show.

She said she is thankful for having the opportunity to learn from de Leon, who is considered one of the country's top hosts.

"Mabibilang ko ang sarili ko sa isa sa mga pinakamaswerte sa henerasyon na ito na nakatrabaho ang isang Joey de Leon," she said.

Favorites

De Leon admitted that Gonzaga is currently his favorite personality on television.

This puts Gonzaga alongside Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo, who is de Leon' favorite movie actress.

"Kayo ni Sarah, parang kayong dalawa favorite ko eh. Ikaw sa TV, siya sa pelikula," he said.

De Leon is part of Geronimo's upcoming film, "Won't Last A Day Without You."

It will hit theaters nationwide on November 30.

Hosting tips

De Leon also took the opportunity to give tips to both aspiring and current television hosts.

"Baka may mga nakikinig diyan. 'Pag nagho-host kayo, makinig kayo sa co-host niyo," he said.

"'Yung iba kasi solo lang, sarili lang [ang] iniintindi. Maganda ba ako sa TV, anong anggulo. Kailangan makikinig ka kasi mawawala ka sa takbo ng usapan," he added.

Asked if he does this to co-hosts Tito and Vic Sotto, de Leon said, "Iba na kami. Tinginan lang. Di na kailangan mag-usap."

"Close ako sa show. 'Yan ang wag kang aasa [sa co-hosts]. Kahit absent ang lahat ng co-host, dapat kaya mo mag-isa."

The veteran comedian then poked fun at Gonzaga's co-host on "Happy Yipee Yehey," singer Rico J. Puno.

"Alam mo kung bakit ako naiiyak [sa pag-iwan mo sa amin]? Biruin mo, kasama mo Tito Vic and Joey. Tapos kasama mo ngayon si Rico Puno? Nasaan ang kahihiyan mo?" he said.

He quickly added, "Hindi, joke lang 'yun. Pareng Rico, hindi, hindi. Mabait 'yun."

MANILA, Philippines – Veteran actor and comedian Joey de Leon became one of Twitter's trending topics worldwide during his guest appearance on ABS-CBN talk show "The Buzz."

He ranked fifth on the list on Sunday afternoon.

Several Twitter users were thrilled to see de Leon being interviewed by his former "Eat Bulaga" co-host, Toni Gonzaga.

They also lauded de Leon for not failing to make them laugh.

Twitter user aerzem said: “Kaaliw interview ni Toni with Joey de Leon at kinilig ako sobra sa interview ni Charlene kay Sarah and Gerald ♥ Won't Last a Day Without You.”

“joey de leon made me laugh to dead (sic) ..its awesome #the buzz had him as their [guest],” user shaina_chocolat posted.

I loved the reaction on Anjo & Snooky's face when they read who the winner was. Lalo na si Anjo.. "Oy! Dabarkads!" Dahil dyan, I want to see Tin in Eat Bulaga. Kaso mukhang impossible talaga sya since magkatapat HYY and Eat Bulaga

Gusto kong part sa speech ni Tin eh nung pinasalamatan nya ang Eat Bulaga. Dabarkads! Kahit na ang layo na ng narating nya. Kahit na it's been 7 years since she left that show. Same here, natuwa talaga ako sa sinabi ni Anjo na "And the Best Female TV Host is... Oy! Dabarkads! *smiles* Toni Gonzaga!". Tapos nakakatuwa yung mga speeches ni Tin! Nung una yung sa The Buzz, natutuwa talaga ako when she acknowledges yung mga tao behind the camera - yung writers, director, etc. Tapos yung sa "Female Star of the Night", humble nung una tapos nag-patawa. hahaha And lastly, yung sa "Best Female TV Host" speech niya! Nakakatuwa talagang in-acknowledge niya yung Eat Bulaga na pinanggalingan niya. Nakaka-proud lang na hanggang ngayon talaga marunong pa rin siyang tumingin sa kanyang pinanggalingan.
