One possible daw according to my friend is Pinoys have an oral tradition (which may also explain our penchant for singing/caterwauling). I have never verified this though.

Bakit pinoy.. Hindi sumusunod.. Walang disiplina.. Bla blah blahh.

    paulit ulit ko ring sasabihin..

There are people who create laws.

There will be people who will break them.

There will be people who need to enforce them.

Do you know how much money countries like the US spend on law enforcement? The city I live in has a 1.2 billion dollar budget for 2010... Half of that, 600 million is spent on law enforcement... Which includes enforcement on taxes, sanitation, and even jay walking.

It is natural for people to test the limits of the law and break them.. That is why never kang magtitipid o maging mabait pag dating sa law enforcement.

Actually the so-called "verbal" placards are being used in some parts of Metro Manila. I remember passing by a street and a person with a megaphone kept on repeating orders that this is a no loading zone. "Doon po ang sakayan, bawal dito!!!" "Doon po ang sakayan, bawal dito!!!" "Doon po ang sakayan!!!" Of course, everybody followed.

Yes, agree. Me martial law noon eh, lifted mga early 80s.

    Tsk tsk

Nagtataka pa ba kayo, hindi kasi sila naniniwala sa batas unless tested and proven, hanggat wala silang first hand experience at masampolan ng punishment,

oh by the way, yung mga law enforcers ba, sumusunod na ngayon or are they still the law breakers??

  20. #19
ikaw.. gusto mo bang sumunod dito?

    puro bad words aabutin mo
