The Twilight stars rocked baseball caps as they sang along to their favourite acts at the star-studded festival.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have made no secret of the fact they are massive music fans, so it will come as no surprise to learn they were amongst the A-listers who headed to Coachella festival at the weekend.

Kristen looked every inch the rock chick in a pair of bottom skimming denim shorts, cut-off t-shirt, baseball cap and her trusty red Converse shoes.

Rob also sported a cap, teamed with a t, trousers and rather manky trainers – that lad needs Gok Wan.

The Twilight stars were spotted holding hands and cuddling up, as they sang along to some of their favourite bands.

Last month, the loved up couple enjoyed the Johnny Flynn concert at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "They were holding hands, they kissed, they rested on each other and there was light dancing too. Without a doubt they were in love and not afraid to show it. It was extremely natural."

Furthermore, Robert was said to have been so inspired by the gig, he is set to work with Johnny on some new tracks.

Another source said: “Rob is a huge fan of Johnny. He’s like a mentor to Rob. The two are hoping to record some music together.

“Rob has said that it would be a dream come true to perform with Johnny on stage someday — perhaps even at The Hotel Cafe! Music is Rob’s true passion. It’s what he’s most passionate about — that is, second to Kristen!”

Robert has an impressive collection of guitars and Kristen recently snapped up a £50,000 piano for her boyfriend’s birthday.

Perhaps Rob will get his own slot at Coachella one day.

Couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted while heading through the crowds yesterday (April 22) at Coachella 2012 in California. Robert was rumored to have been at the festival on Saturday (April 21), but only Kristen was photographed.

Jennifer McDonnell, Dose.ca‘s managing editor, was quick to set reports right that Kristen wasn’t flying solo for the festival, as she tweeted on Sunday (April 22): “Everyone keeps tweeting that Kristen Stewart is at Coachella w/o Pattinson. Guys, they were holding hands. I know my homeless looking Brits.”

Clearly within breathing space of the Hollywood’s hottest couple, she tweeted: “He was wearing a grey tshirt and didn’t seem to have much of a beard. She was wearing a black tank and dark red lipstick.”

McDonnell also added: “They were holding hands and when they stopped to regroup with their pals, she put her other hand on his chest. THAT’S ALL I KNOW, people!”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart enjoyed the Coachella art and music festival side by side on Sunday night. Kristen was spotted on her own at Coachella earlier in the weekend, and she was still sporting Rob's Orioles hat for the final evening of performances. The duo were reportedly hanging out with their friend Katy Perry, who was with her rumored new boyfriend. Rob and Kristen have a crazy few weeks ahead since they're both headed back to Vancouver for Breaking Dawn Part 2 reshoots and then they're off to Cannes where his film Cosmopolis and her On the Road are both in competition. Between those, Kristen will be premiering Snow White and the Huntsman in London and we're giving away a chance to meet her there. Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Attend Coachella Together!



The "Twilight" cast may be wrapped up filming all the flicks, but Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are still going strong!

The two were seen at the second weekend of Coachella together, where K-Stew showed off her legs in a pair of short shorts. The actress also flaunted some of her taut tummy in a tight Edgar Winter's White Trash t-shirt.

The duo wasn't the only couple sighting either, as their "Twilight" co-star Nikki Reed attended the music festival with her "American Idol" contestant husband Paul McDonald. "Gossip Girl" star Penn Badgley also enjoyed the festivities with his girlfriend Zoe Kravitz while "True Blood" hunk Joe Manganiello went shirtless with a new gal pal.

Noticeably solo at the event this year: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who wasn't seen with boyfriend Jason Statham, Joe Jonas, Melanie Griffith and Emma Roberts ... who attended last weekend with on-again boyfriend Chord Overstreet.

Alicia Silverstone was also pictured at Coachella with her son Bear Blue, who was seen wearing noise canceling headphones.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Get Their Coachella On With Katy Perry



Of course only after we gushed over seeing the likes of Alicia Silverstone, Joe Jonas and Twilight stars Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser at week two of Coachella, two more amazing sightings come across our desk that kind of outshine the rest: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart tucked in among the masses at the Beirut set on Sunday night — photographed together before they split up to thwart the paparazzi; and KStew backstage with Katy Perry during the Florence and the Machine set, where a fan snapped a pic and posted it on Instagram. And incidentally, Katy was evidently there to watch Florence guitarist Robert Ackroyd, with whom she was seen holding hands and kissing during the festival.

Robsten were also spotted together during the Radiohead set on Saturday. “They were kissing and holding hands during Radiohead, swaying and singing along to parts [of the songs],” a festivalgoer told Celebuzz.

We’re so happy the couple got to enjoy this downtime together before they have to compete against each other in the cutthroat Cannes Film Festival competition (that’s how that works, right?).

Like any good boyfriend packed into a sweaty, standing-room-only venue with his other half, Robert Pattinson had Kristen Stewart's back at Coachella this weekend.

"They were holding hands and standing in the general viewing area, not the VIP area," an eyewitness told E! News of the down-to-earth Twilight stars, who were seen rocking out like a couple of...

The couple were said to be waiting for friends before heading back into the VIP area to watch Radiohead, who went on Saturday shortly after 11 p.m. (So maybe that's why they weren't exactly smiling when the camera caught up with them.)

"They seemed happy and like any normal couple going to see a gig, and it was lovely to see that," our source said. "I didn't see them for very long, but they looked content. At one point Kristen put her hand on Rob's chest. I didn't see them kiss, but they were tactile with one another."

No need to call the karma police—that means they were very touchy-feely.

My Close Encounter with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at Coachella

Oh, twihards. I should know by now that your obsession with everything Robsten-related knows no bounds, but yet again, your tenacity took me by surprise. Seriously, thanks to you, my brief celeb sighting (which didn’t even crack my Top 10 moments of Coachella 2012) has made me go viral. Um, thanks?

So, here’s the (not very exciting) dish: on Saturday night around 11, my friends and I were sitting on a blanket waiting for Radiohead to go on. We were to the left of the stage, just in front of the VIP entrance. I was fiddling with my phone when I heard someone say “Hold up, guys. We should wait for them.” And even before I looked up, I knew it was Kristen Stewart. Turns out she has a really distinctive voice. (Either that, or I’ve watched way, way too many Kristen Stewart movies. I like my first theory better.)

She was holding Robert Pattinson’s hand and they were with a couple of other people. He was wearing a grey tshirt and looking like his usual disheveled, adorable self, while she looked gorg in a black top and red lipstick. They were wondering about someone named Nikki’s whereabouts.

My friend was going to take their photo, but I dissuaded her. It’s weird, but I feel oddly protective of Robert Pattinson. I’ve met him and think he’s a genuinely nice guy; the last thing I wanted to do was make him feel uncomfortable or draw attention to them. These kids seem like a normal young couple who rarely get to do normal things, and I didn’t want to ruin their moment. They were wandering around the general population unnoticed, and I was reluctant to invade their privacy (more so than I already have). Still, I shot off a quick generic tweet just to tell my friends that I saw them.

Of course, I soon found out that tweeting about a Robsten sighting without including some photographic proof is the quickest way to get the twihards twihating. I got a bunch of messages wondering why I didn’t take photos and was I sure it was them? Seriously? I can’t claim to be an expert in much, but four years of writing and/or copy-editing stories about these guys almost every single week has made me pretty confident that I know my Twilight inside and out. (And I can’t tell you how sad that sentence just made me.)

There were a couple of really sweet tweets, however, mostly praising an interview I did with him way back in 2008 (twihards have long memories). And the messages about how I was lying were outnumbered by the messages demanding every. single. detail. What were they wearing? Did they look loving? Has his hair grown out or will he need a wig for the Breaking Dawn reshoots? Have I ever seen another couple so epically soul-matey? I’d love to tell you all that I watched him throw her down on the grass and make love to her before a unicorn appeared to whisk them into the clouds, but they were just a normal looking couple surrounded by their normal looking friends, eager to see Radiohead like the rest of us.

Radiohead was awesome, btw. So were M83, St Vincent, Girl Talk, The Hives, SBTRKT, The Rapture, Gary Clark Jr, tUnE-yArDs, Santigold and Childish Gambino. But you don’t care about that, do you? You just want to hear about how she rested her hand on his chest (which she did) and how he took her hand and led her through the crowd to the VIP section (which he did). Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Take Romance Public at Coachella

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are as private a couple as you'll find in Hollywood, but the Twilight co-stars were OK with taking their romance public this weekend.

Scratch that: it was more like Robsten took their romance TO the public at Coachella this Sunday. Because when Dose.ca spotted them together that night, just before Radiohead began their headlining set, Stewart and Pattinson were far from the relative comforts of the VIP tent, strolling hand in hand among the non-sparkling plebes in the pit.

"He was basically leading her through the crowd," says Dose.ca managing editor Jen McDonnell, who spotted Pattinson and Stewart at the festival when she heard Stewart chatting behind her. "She was saying 'We have to find Nikki,'" says McDonnell. (Note: Just Jared reports Twilight co-star Nikki Reed was also at the fest -- though among the estimated 85,000 people in attendance, there were probably one or two extra Nikkis in the mob.)

But it wasn't all talk for Stewart and Pattinson. There was also some (very G-rated) action. As McDonnell Tweeted Sunday night: "They were holding hands and when they stopped to regroup with their pals, she put her other hand on his chest."

It was just a brief moment of affection -- "they weren't super PDA, they weren't fighting, they just seemed like a really nice couple enjoying themselves," McDonnell says of the actors. But since the weekend, several outlets have run stories about the Twilight co-stars' Coachella date. As one witness told Celebuzz, for instance, the couple was seen cuddling once Radiohead's set began. "They were kissing and holding hands during Radiohead, swaying and singing long to parts [of the songs]." But McDonnell reports the tightly packed onlookers left the couple alone, suggesting there's a very small overlap between Radiohead and Twilight Saga fans, despite the British band's presence on the soundtracks.

Stewart and Pattinson were photographed together at various times during Coachella, and Hollywood Life notes that Stewart kept her complexion its most vampiric by wearing a Baltimore Orioles baseball cap borrowed from her boyfriend, Pattinson.

McDonnell, please note, would have written about all these sparkly details herself, but is currently enjoying a California holiday. (Update: Read her take on the Robsten sighting in Scandal Sheet.) In 2008, she interviewed Pattinson for Dose.ca, so, as she Tweeted Sunday: "I know my homeless looking Brits."

That said, despite their wardrobe of cut-off jeans and grubby t-shirts, McDonnell clarifies that Stewart and Pattinson were as movie-star pretty as any Twihard could imagine them.

"He looked all kinds of nice," she says of Pattinson, "he just looked kind of disheveled as he always does." And Stewart, she says, was gorgeous.

The couple, who both have movies at this year's Cannes festival, are expected to travel to Vancouver in the near future. As Breaking Dawn, Part 2 director Bill Condon revealed on the movie's Facebook page earlier this month, both stars are expected to return to B.C. to film re-shoots for the Twilight Saga's final chapter. Breaking Dawn, Part 2 is expected in theatres November 16.
