One of the reasons of one such prof is that hindi daw niya mapagsasabihan if ever nagingay kasi wala siya technically na hawak dun sa student.

Most professors are more lenient though. And if you do sit-in, nako, madalas pagiinitan yan ng prof.

LOL

I've always wanted to participate at random in a PE class; never really had a chance to try, though. I am from UP Manila, after all.

Haha.

College of Engineering sa UPLB, they let students sit in pero not in lab classes.

RGEP classes ang strict pero there are still cool teachers na they let sit ins. Ako one time nag-sit sa freshman classes ng ENG2. I was in my 5th year in Engineering then.

so in my case, "skin-dive-in" at "scuba-dive-in"

Did you end up conversational in any of those languages, or did they concentrate on studying the structure of the language?

  17. #37
^Structure depends on the teaching style of the prof. Fluency depends on the student.

Generally, I think, Profs are ok with it. But its just proper to ask permission or inform the prof given the fact that you want to learn new things and not just KILL time because the weather is bad etc etc. In grad school, sit in is encouraged by the prof themselves especially for those who would take their comprehensive exams for example.

Yes, it depends on the prof.

Tas wag kang mabigla kung tawagin ka para sumagot, parang you're part of the class pa rin kasi in some aspects.

May show and tell kasi sila nun tapos gusto kong panoorin. Naka-sit in ako kasi nagpaalam yung kaibigan ko.

Sobrang saya ng feeling na mag-sit in sa Comm 3 class na yun kasi it was a breather from my subjects na puro science at math (I'm an Engg student; about my GE, MST yun) and nafeel ko that day na dapat mag-sit in ako sa mga AH at SSP GEs kasi...gusto kong matuto ng mga bagay na hindi lang puro science at math. Hahaha. Kaso hindi pa uli ako nakakasit-in ever since.
