Hiya! I would like to ask for any of your experiences (third-person or first person) on whether or not professors in UP Diliman allow students who are not officially enrolled into the professor's class to sit-in and listen to the lectures.
Back when I was an undergrad in Ateneo de Manila University, I asked for permission from a teacher to sit-in, but I got kicked out because the reason I had for sitting-in was, "Sir, kasi malakas po ang ulan sa labas eh! *sabay paawa face* Wala po kaming tambayan!" All the while, the two stooges that were my fellow blockmates with me suddenly giggled and hooted a loud laugh. Funny thing was, I didn't know then what I did wrong XD
Yeah, but the main question is, do professors generally allow non-enrolled students to sit-in at the UP?

What about asking permission in advance from the professor, would that be advisably done during the first day of classes or the second day of classes? What do you do though when there's a quiz or exam? Do you just sit there quietly?

(I've joined a workshop before where the student was told to come back after he had paid the full amount, after sitting through 3/4 of the workshop and paying around 1/4 the fee). Yeah, but i do realize the payment schemes of universities to professors are different, so it might be different
