Kapitolyo restos

dati Charlie's lang meron, now ang dami na nagsusulputan restos. there's Thai Dara, Mad Marks, CAB, Lollicakes, Skewu and Food barn. Looks promising (at least the pics on FB hehe) some of them are literally across the building where I live (pero di ko pa natatry dahil lagi ako nagmamadali papasok (late) or late na umuwi ng bahay dahil sa gimik hehe

parang nagiging Maginhawa St. (near UP naging food joint na itong place na to) -- not that I'm complaining yun lang, traffic na dito sa tahimik na lugar namin.

Cafe Juanita is my favourite Filipino restaurant.

oh yeah, how can I have forgotten the legendary Cafe Juanita (allegedly Imelda Marcos' fave restos) and Three Sisters din. yummy bbq

by the way, may nakita ako na under construction, same side ng Cafe Juanita corner of the intersection. Ramen something. Japanese resto in my neighborhood. Yey

My favorite there is Poco Deli aside from Charlie's.

Nung nakatira pa kami sa may kapitolyo, kapag kinatamaran magluto, bibili ng pansit at bbq sa three sisters, solved na kami!

I tried Charlies, cab cafe, poco deli and three sisters, pretty good places to eat I must say

Ramen Cool's pretty okay. I don't know how it stands up against ramen from say, Japan, but on its own the food's good.

Our favorite right now is Mad Mark's. The sandwiches are big (and hindi puro tinapay) and tasty if you like meat and cheese. They also make their own ice cream. The flavors are good too, they're not typical though not nearly as out there as other artisan ice cream makers. Simple lang pero ok na ending to the meal. Great texture.

You'll get an idea where's the best place to eat by looking at the number of people dining there. When I biked in Kapitolyo the other night (8PM) I saw the ff establishments:

Ramen Cool - 3/4 full. Some vacant tables.
3 Sisters - Full
Charlie's - Full (as usual)
Milky and Sunny - 3 tables occupied
Cab Cafe - 25% occupancy
Poco Deli - Full
Cafe Juanita - Half full
Good Burgers - Half full
Rub - Full

Bukas pa ba yung Uncle Moe's in Kapitolyo? One time I saw parang walang ilaw eh. Pero never fear, may Citigolf branch naman sila so it's relatively accessible parin

The ones we've tried there are Nav, Charlie's and Poco Deli. All three are recommended
