    Boracay in August

Would it still be advisable to visit Boracay by August or masyado ng maulan and unsafe? Visited last week and it was fine, no rains. But I wanna go back in August with family.

    My boracay expenses

    Manila to Boracay
    Bus to Philtranco Pasay P12.00
Philtranco Bus from Pasay directly to Clark Airport -- 450.00 (A)
Clark Airport Terminal Fee -- P150.00
Kalibo Bus to Caticlan plus boat from Caticlan Port to Boracay P300.00 (B)
Port Terminal Fee and Environmental Fee -- P100.00 and P75.00
    Tricycle to Hotel P120.00 (C)

    Boracay to Manila
    Tricycle to Port P20.00
Boat from Boracay to Caticlan plus Van to Kalibo Airport P200.00
    Kalibo Airport Terminal Fee P40.00
Philtranco bus from Clark Airport to Pasay P450.00 (A)
    Two jeeps going home P16.00

    TOTAL TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES: P1,933.00
    AIRASIA ROUNDTRIP TICKET CLARK/KALIBO: P750.40
    BORACAY HOTEL for 5 Days/4 nights: P2,000.00 (D)
    FOOD/SOUVENIR/ACTIVITIES/GIMIKS/TRICYCLE/ETC: P5,348.11

    MY TOTAL BORACAY EXPENSES: P10,031.51

    NOTES:
    (A) Another Alternative going from Manila to Clark and vice versa for AirAsia passengers is to take any bus from Pasay to Dau (costs around P150.00) then look for the free bus ride at Dau via free AirAsia bus to Clark Airport. Same thing goes from Clark Airport to Dau.

    (B) I bought a bus ticket on board the plane from the AirAsia Crew for P300.00 but I could have just paid a van/boat tickets at Kalibo Airport for just P200.00

    (C) Since I didn't know how to go to the hotel, I rode a tricycle alone and paid for the whole fare of P120.00 (should've just been P100 but I instructed the driver to a different hotel instead so I added P20.00). I could've just paid P20.00 and waited for other passengers.

    (D) Hotel owner said the per night rate goes down to just P350.00 during off-peak season.

Effort ang pumunta pa sa Clark then sa Kalibo rin ang bagsak. May airlines naman na diretsong Manila-Caticlan-Manila like Cebu Pacific and AirPhil Express.

AirAsia is worth a try. May friend said her flight to Kalibo was on time. Compared sa the late Cebu Pacific.

saan pong boracay hotel ito? thank you

    Thumbs up

Well, yes. I know na mejo hassle nga yung dadaan ka pa ng Clark pero nung time na nagbook kasi ako, I got over excited sa price na P750.40 roundtrip offer ng AirAsia. It was after the payment na narealize ko na sa Clark nga pala sha.

But no regrets. I was able to find new friends sa clark na naghintay din ng flight. Tapos amoy bagong bago pa ang plane nila. Tapos nadiscover ko din other ways of going to Clark. And first time ko pa lang naman going solo don kaya not much of a hassle, tolerable pa naman for me.

About the hotel, sa Trafalgar sha within E-mall (not D-mall_ sa station 3). You can contact joel at these numbers, 09196783446 or 0362883711. After the incident, feel ko na safe ako dahil tinulungan nila kami.

Will be there this Friday til Monday, sana walang bagong bagyo na dumating. Last boracay trip ko 3 years ago pa, anong bago sa island na pwedeng gawin?

Paraw sailing utilizes the paraw boats (small boat with sail) and can be used in island hopping, etc. while in parasailing you will be attached to a parachute being pulled by a pump boat.
