Im just not sure if pag around high peak season ma eentertain ka willingly ng mga receptionist from big hotels...yung mga cottages and resorts willing **** sila pakita mga rooms nla..

    mine was charged right away. may ongoing promo yung sa nakuha namin that time (free one night) so not sure kung yun ang reason. depende sa terms and conditions or arrangement nila with the hotel, so walang fixed process. some hotels allow no cancellation fee, while yung iba, may $15 na charge. i've booked hotels din sa novotel.com, and yung iba kong booking, guarantee lang ang credit card, while yung iba, na-charge agad for the entire stay. always read the fine print.

    @alaskadora000000 - You sound like you one this thread. You are a first timer also and I believe you also posted some stupid questions that you think other first timers do. Be sensitive on others as you do not own this thread. Everybody has the right to ask. If you think their question is stupidity, just shut your mouth.

    OO everybody has the right to ask questions but doesn't have the right to just write without reading the thread.

    COMMON SENSE PALA HA.. Trike from Caticlan airport to Jetty Port tinatanong mo pa? If indeed you have read all 5,000+++ posts from the previous thread, you will see what you are asking for. There are lots of posts about the fare of trike (and even Van) from Caticlan airport to Jetty Port.

    So nagmamayabang ka lang na nabasa mo yung more than 5,000 posts???
    Or nalaglag na ang common sense mo?
    Or sadyang astang PRIMA DONNA ka lang?

    @alaskadora

    haha, i guess i typed it in a way that makes me look like a choosy person.. sorry naman, i was working that time and siningit ko lang pagpost sa pex... xD

    also, i just learned about our Bora Trip yesterday.. that's why i started to read this thread and post a question [or two ^_^]...

    @suri_maw
    Good point po, i'll take that into consideration.. cause i was thinking that Dec.20 onwards pa *** dagsaan ng mga tao [at least you cleared that up for me]

    @ilove
    last time kasi we stayed at The Tides with my Family, liked the place.. Good Food and Pool.. too bad the Beachfront Bar [or Venue] that they have wasn't finished during that time..

    I will probably just book my Flight a Day earlier than my Friends..haha..so that way i can crash in my Friends Place in bora for a night and use the time to scout the area to experience walking in during a Peak Season..

    oh btw, my other friends who will be going to Bora already booked in Red Coconut & another place i forgot.. worst case is that i'll just sleep in with them if Hotels in Station 2 are fully booked.

    i'll do my best to share my experience walking in during a Peak season and trying to Haggle [if it is even possible]... so that others would be well informed.

    kayo naman, kaya nga ALASKADORA and nick nya e, kasi ALASKADOR nga... hehe... hwag nyo na lang pansinin...

    I think there is a reason why posts keep reaching 5,000+ (and then new thread) tapos 5,000+ (then new thread uli..) etc etc

    people just like to share their experiences with others, people like to ask for advice, and as long as there is people willing to answer, talagang di matatapos ang threads na mga to..

    kung tutuusin, most answers can be found in page 1 of threads like this, or di kaya, there are many, many BLOGS and sites out there that already give COMPLETE info on How Tos, etc.. but people still like to come to PEX and ask for current, latest and urgent answers..

  15. #75
    oops, forgot to read Page 4..

    @ vladimir
    good point about the "kaartehan does not equate on being choosy on a tight budget."

    Animo Pre! btw, nice Pic.. care to send me the Photo?

    @ all

    shoot, i feel like i'm the one who started it all..haha..

    IMO, this is just the start of people asking questions that [might] have been answered before since December is coming.. so best if others can reply asap to their question or direct them to a link that will contain all the information they need..

    If only seaching for the right answer is as easy as CTRL+F then we wouldn't have this problem..haha

    okay, TIME TO WORK! check ko to ulet mamayang 6am..

    different here in the hotel i am working from. agoda charges the credit card instantly and the agoda booking is a confirmed booking. paid ang hotel kahit hindi dumating ang guest.

    guys, accommodation advise naman budget around 2k -3k per night three pax, with my gf and her friend. they are from korea kaya im lookin for a decent place to stay. sana matulungan nyo ko. thanks.

  18. #78
    depends tonzi on the date of your arrival. you can have the best idea by searching from agoda.com. just type the dates and the prices will be shown there. read on the reviews! real accounts of people who stayed in the hotel. prices varies from Low season June to October (because of rainy season and strong winds on the main beach caused by "West Wind" or habagat in tagalog), High Season of November to Feb because of favorable weather and no more bamboos in front of the hotels so you have a clear view of the beach and the clear water. lastly Peak Season March to May which is the hottest time of the year including school breaks and usually the only time that the family is complete to travel, your P3,000 has limited options by peak season. unlike if it's low season. your options are a lot wider.
    the popular hotel suggestions here are Tan's, Taj's, Namaste, Island Nook and White Beach de Boracay among other favorites.

    Give and take sana hindi yung panay take na lang.
