You don't need to hang out there. There's a lot of entertainment there and you can go people watching and just watch the people winning and losing money. the game will be your entertainment if you don't want to spend any money.

    me, too.

-At sobra sarap mag window shopping sa megamall. Maraming shops na pwede i-check.

    - window shopping is the best...

-coffee shops, i NEVER spend my time ALONE in a coffee shop. Kahit type ko yung ambiance --lalo na pag kaunti lang yung tao. Simply because i am "kuripot". i like spending coffee time w/ friends or family. na nililibre ako, or bonding time.

    same here!

ako, sobrang gusto ko sa mga park. children's park or kahit san basta may puno or grassy patches. minsan sa mga coffee shop or sa mga library.

@ Vincex. Thank you for the info.

Gusto ko yata ng gimik where I can meet friends to increase my network siguro effective to meet friends sa fun run, sa casino and sa bar. Friends lang ha hindi lovers. Saan pa kaya pwede?

  5. #45
^ You want to increase your network? Join different groups. that's a start. ex. rotary club, toastmasters, volunteer stuff, common interest groups, support groups etc..

Another would be be bonding with the friends of your friends and their friends as well. Many individuals don't like to risk befriending people.

I wanna do this din kasi may extra agenda ako. They can refer clients to me. Parang business strategy na rin...

Thanks sa suggestion uli. I highly appreciate it

    - i wanted to try spa massage alone pero in a MALL. Not the spa massage parlors near our subdivision (where i usually go w/ family members).

    - i discovered that French Baker upper level (megamall) is a good place to eat alone-pricey for my budget, pero worth it.

For my me time, I just go to:
    Starbucks - laptop/magazine
Spa - I don't like to go with other people din
Book store - just browse the latest releases and buy kung interesting
Burger joints - mas casual kasi, ok lang kung ikaw mag-isa
Gym - I used to go with my sister, but different gym na kami ngayon

I never tried hanging out at a casino . How much money do I need to bring? Any tips?
I never go to the casino alone, I get too absorbed. Gusto ko lagi bawiin yung na-lose ko na money Madalas, I just take 1,000-1,200 with me pero you can start playing at 300pesos, just remember never to bring your bank card. Ako kasi talagang mag-wiwithdraw pa ako pag natalo ako para makabawi.

places to go/ things to do when when I am alone.

    1) Cinemas

I watch movies alone in those mid-range movie houses like Robinsons SM. I only do this spur of the moment if I am bored during weekends and no one is free to go out with me but I wanna watch the movie right away. This is because I only ride the jeep in these places from my house. I only spend P16 (back and forth) as compared to spending P40 for parking.

    2) Malls

After work when the car is not available or the line in the shuttle service terminal is soooo loooong so rather than make siksik in the MRT or ride the bus, I window shop first then i go home when its closing time already and the lines in the terminal are no longer that loooong

    3) Coffeeshops

From Mr. Donuts coffee to McCafe to Strabucks to UCC to hotel lobby/coffeeshops, I'm not choosy.

    4) Food Trip

From Mang Larry's isaw in UP to Sofitel's Spiral, I am also not choosy.

    5) Window shopping in malls

From 168 to Greenbelt 5, again, I'm not choosy. Mapa shoes, clothes or bags, I will wear anything just as long as it looks good on me.

    6) Running
Since I graduated from 2 universities (one undergraduate, and the other for my graduate studies) which are located within a stone throw's from each other, I used to jog in either. I used go to to the school where I earned my undergrad degree whenever I'd l pick up my shoti coz he has class til 9 pm. While waiting for him, I jog around the serene campus. But he's a graduate now so I don't go there anymore. But whenever I feel like visiting some grad school profs, I go to the second university after work and jog in the circle afterwards.

    7) Spa
Whether for pedicure/manicure/waxing/threading/full body massage I do it alone. It's suppose to be a girl bonding activity but I hate waiting for my female companions if they are not yet finished.

    8) Grocery

I like comparing prices and getting good discounts.

    9) Cemetery

Surprisingly, I like the serene and tranquil air in the Loyola Memorial park. Since my dad died, I visit his grave whenever I can and if there is time to spare.

    10) Church

    Self-explanatory

    11) Bookstores

From Natio Bookstore to Powerbooks to Fully Booked, there is sill nothing like real books even with the arrival of the Kindle.

    12) Travel to other places

I've travelled alone (by plane) to 2 local destinations - cebu and Davao. One of the things to do before I hit 30.

I don't go to bars or clubs alone. Di ko kaya. mahirap na if may na-meet na hot stranger o nakainom ng sobra. kelangan ko ng wingman kung ganon, hehe.

    You mean hang out?

I used to have a drink in Malate alone, when I'm craving for beer. No big deal. Minsan nga, may dala pa 'kong book. Kapag sa beach at mag-isa sa bar, usually someone strikes a conversation, kung wala, ok lang rin.

Since hindi na ako umiinom halos ngayon () and I prefer non-smoking places, I spend my time in the spa, salon, shopping in the mall, then have a meal or coffee afterwards. This is usually in Rob Place Manila where I have my suki and privileges.

My life revolves around a lot of people, it's refreshing to spend the day by myself---offline.

pag wala si hubby sa cafe/milk tea shops, girlie places like nail spa/salon, shopping - naiinis sya pag nagca -canvass pa ako. bakit daw kailangan tumingin tingin, bilhin daw ang unang makita (this is typical guy's attitude pag nasa mall)

I can be anywhere alone, except sa sinehan. naawa ako sa sarili ko pag manood ako magisa
