question about transferring to FEU.

Okay straight to the point.
Nagpasaway ako sa CSB so now I have to transfer to a different school dahil ma-KO na ko next term dun.
So I've decided to transfer to FEU because of their Advertising arts.

ang tanong lang ay...
for 2 terms straight sa CSB, puro R *** grade ko. Makaka affect ba to sa chance na tanggapin ako magtransfer sa FEU?

Btw , culinary arts ako sa CSB and plan kong magtake ng advertising arts dito sa FEU.

and till when is FEU accepting transferees?

pero I'm the one studying there, hindi kayo.
at nabasa ko nga dito din mismo sa forums. Hindi mo malalaman ang kagandahan/kabulukan ng FEU unless mag-aral ka dito. I believe the same applies for CSB and any other school out there.

Opo, in CSB, if you pass atleast 1 subject sa term you are enrolled in, you'll be spared. Pero in my case, LAHAT po R.
And apparently, a notice was sent to my parents na next term, I can no longer be accepted sa CSB which confirms na I'll be KOed next term.

And yes, kahit naman po saang school, kahit nga hindi nag-aaral eh. There will always be someone na mas matalino sakin. it all depends on the definition ng isang tao sa pagiging "matalino".


p.s: I understand, ayaw nyong maging "tapunan" ang FEU. Pero just to clear things up, I've been thinking about transferring here bago pa ako mapasok sa gulo na kinasasangkutan ko ngayon. Kaya nga po nagtatanong ako dito sa forums. I would truly appreciate it if my questions were answered instead. But ofcourse, this is an open forum, thus, bukas din po ako sa opinyon ng ibang tao.

Ok..lets put it this way..if you really a bonafide student of CSB and you failed all your subjects, then you want to enter FEU eh pwed ka magaral pero babalik ka sa pagiging 1st year...just call admission office for further details regarding your concern..7360036/7355621 to 30...okie.

pano ka naman hindi namin panghihinalaan na troll, eh pang ilang thread mo na bato? para ka kasing nag to troll na di mo malaman, may thread ka na sa baba, and may other similar threads pa na kagaya nito.

bat di mo tinuloy yung isa mong thread, imagine ilang threads just for your case only.

at bakit ka naman na offend for CSB, kaya nga sinabi ko pati UP and La Salle na kahit madaming bagsak eh hindi kagad na kikick out.

if youre legitimate, wala kang dapat ikasama ng loob dahil patama sa troll ang mga patutsada namin, hindi sa case mo na maki kick out.

at wala naman kaming control (alumni) kung gusto tumanggap ng FEU ng mga ireg at na kick out, sabi nga namin, at least napapabuti ang ibang estudyante sa FEU.

and dont worry, hindi kami na ooffend dahil sa gustong magaral ng ibang students sa FEU, in fact, napapahanga pa nga kami lalo ng FEU.

despite FEUs open door policy, and unregulated admission, FEU continues to be one of the best academic institutions in the country.

You will be advised na maging 1st year ka ulit. pero NSTP and PE automatic atang make-credit so dont worry.
kasi AFAIK kung 3 subjects pataas ang bagsak, kelangan talaga nun.

Tsaka anung year na po ba kayo? dapat maaga pa lang po nag-transfer na po kayo.

o sige to be clear...

Procedures for Transfer:
1. Present requirements for pre-evaluation to the AERO, Ground Floor of the Arts Bldg.
2. Take the FEU-CAT (if meron na, verify the test results to AERO)

• - For Quota courses (BS Nursing, BS MedTech, BS Architecture, and BSBA Internal Auditing or BS Accountancy), an above average is needed

3. Submit all original requirements to AERO
4. Proceed to OSA for profiling
5. Go to respective institutes for Academic Program Credit Evaluation (APCE) to determine credited courses
6. Submit endorsement forms.
7. Return on the scheduled date of enrollment for transferees.

Policies for Credit Evaluation:
1. Transferees w/ three (3) or more failing grades will be advised to start as freshmen.
2. Only PE and NSTP will be automatically credited.
3. The highest entry level for all transferees is the 2nd year level.
4. Transferees with GWA of 2.25 or better will automatically qualify for credit of units earned.

I'm also a transferee, and pasado ako sa Quota courses (BSBA Internal Auditing) salamat na rn and line of 1 *** GWA ko so credited lahat.

which is I know na quota course. Half ng lahat ng subjects ko
is incomplete and meron ding grades na 5.00. Kaya I know
na I will repeat first year incase I will pass the FEUCAT.
Kaya lang hindi ko po alam kung ano dapat kong gawin or
procedure na dapat kong sundan. Sana matulungan niyo po ako.
Yung exact procedure po, medyo engot kasi eh.

if you're not satisfied with that, you can go straight sa AERO tas dun ka na magtanung-tanong about how to transfer. you'll be given a brochure and stuffs tas ayun na.

honestly speaking, ang hirap ng FEU-CAT dre, since you want to transfer sa archi (which is a quota course), kelangan talaga ng puspusang pag-iisip sa mga sagot... coz we really need to have an above average or else

@daniel o9-nung tuesday ako pumunta ng feu, on that day nag feu-cat kaagad and buti naipasa ko yung test at ang sabi is i can enroll to quota & non-quota courses tapus derecho sa aero after ng test, tama ka yung advice sakin is maging 1st yr ulit. Pagkatapos ininterview ako sa osa, tpus derecho ng iarfa para mag skill test. Lastly, pagkatapos ko magtest ininterview ulit ako sa iarfa. Ayun,thanks god admitted ako.

wag ka muna magpasalamat at balik 1st year ka ule..sbi mo marami kang incomplete at may bagsak ka sa previous mo kaya balik 1st year ka diba..make sure mag aral ka ng mabuti at hindi biro ang arki..baka lilipat ka ule sa iba pag di ka tumino dyan..

Hala, anyday po ba na pumunta sa FEU para mag apply as transferee eh on the same day is mag e-FEU-CAT na rin? Lagot, mukhang kailangan ko munang mag review kasi nakalimutan ko na yung mga previous lessons namin, quota course pa naman ang Architecture, eh akala ko naka scheduled na tuwing Saturday lang ang pag take ng FEUCAT. PATAAAAY!
