Hi everyone! Im supposed to be taking the board exam this October 2012 too have I not stopped for 2 years since 2010. Nevertheless, I enrolled na rin in PRTC for CPA review just for a sort of refresher and advance knowledge na rin. I transferred to a school na kasi here in Manila and since I stopped nga for 2 years and did nothing but work, I felt like I've lost 80% of the knowledge in all the subjects I've already taken up.

I hope meron dito (at least one from CPAR, one from ReSA, one from CRC-ACE, and another one from IPRSD) who can share review materials, including pre-week and pre-board materials. Consider me as the one from PRTC. This would, one way or another help us expose ourselves from the different levels of difficulties of problems and somehow help examinees acquire more resources from the possible questions that may appear in the actual board exam which, according to many review instructors eh nangyayari talaga every board exam. Remember the very high probability of a “reverse leakage”.

By the way, I’d like to commend Sir Larry Tan (my review instructor in MAS). Galing nya eh! I love his style sa pagso-solve ng mga problems!

Sir Larry, Pa sit in naman sa klase mo nag review ako prior mos. and now self review at binalikan ko mga materials ko na backlog kasi nga di ko mahabol kasi 10 yrs ago pa ako na out of this world.Baka naman pwede mag illegal sit in ako sa inyo kahit di ako enrollee wag ka lang maingay as if enrollee ako hahaha

Hello! Nagtake ako nitong May lang, and condi ako sa AT, P1, AP. Wala kong below 65, kaso di umabot sa 75 eh. and talagang nahirapan ako sa AT which is favorite ko pa. Siguro dahil kala ko ok n ko dun, di ko na sya masyado nabigyan ng attention. Mas hirap kasi ako sa mga computational eh. Then, maraming lumalabas na sabe sabe na galing daw kay WILEY *** AT na un. kaya naghanap din ako nga copy nun, un na isa sa mga binabasa ko ngayon . Galing ako sa CRC, and i decided na iself review na lang *** conditional subjects ko.

Sorry I can't send PMs at the moment, I dunno why. I’ll just post my message for you here.
I fully understand your situation. I, myself is self-supporting. I’m working full time, studying full time, and supporting another sibling with her college education too. Life is really tough, I must say! But we should still be thankful for the blessings that our Lord is bestowing upon us. Anyways, I can certainly help you out. One thing though, I have to wait for materials to be completed first as I have very limited time to spend. You may also want to consider posting your same message here so you can seek other people’s help. Marami mababait sa mga PExers na nagrereview and they are very much willing to share their available materials.
Now, regarding your question about review centers who allow students, not necessarily enrolled in their review programs, to take pre-board exam, you will be happy to know that there is only one who can offer you that. It’s PRTC. It’s where I am enrolled. It’s located along Recto Ave., in front of UE. The fee for non-reviewees is:

OPEN PRE-BOARD (non-PRTC reviewees)
First open pre-board examinations 400
Final open pre-board examinations 400
