wow my ngpost n ng oct 2012 takers,, ***** so far ng self review ako,, TOA at Prac 1 ang inumpisahan ko,, pero meron daw ngayong bagong treatment s mga SME eh,,
actually sobrang nangangapa ako **** nga ultimong cash and cash equivalents,, paulit ulit pa ko,, .. hahahau nkakahiya grabe
sa CRC ACE ako mgreview on may 2012..

Hard copy po kasi ang akin eh..pero ang ginagamit ko po sa self review ko ng SMEs eh yung 2011 edition na Financial Accouting Volume 3 ni Valix tapos bumili din po ako nung parang booklet sa Lares ng SMEs worth 60pesos..hope this helps

Hi guys, I just wanna share some helpful tips for those currently taking the review for the CPA board exam. This are some helpful preparation tips to condition yourself before taking the board for 2012. I'll also include some tips for those undergrad Accountancy students that they can use in their studies.

1. Condition your mind and focus on your goals
2. Try not to over worried about the bulk of books that you must finish.
3. Provide a review schedule and make it flexible for sudden changes.
4. Buy a recorder, because this is a very helpful tool that you can use during the review.
5. Reward yourself for everything that you've accomplished during the review.
6. Watch your health, don't over do reviewing. Stress is a big factor to be consider when reviewing for the board exam.
7. Observe time management. Practice solving and answering theories in a minimum amount of time.
8. Don't be contented to finishing your reviewers and text books just once. Continuous Reading is the key to your success.
9. Try to finished your review materials one at a time. Finished first those were given by your review instructors before jumping to other review materials.
10. Improve your reading comprehension, by doing this it'll save you a lot of time answering questions.
11. Don't forget to relax and learn to breath normally when reviewing or taking an exam.
12. When you don't know something try to ask questions to others to confirm the correctness of your knowledge about something.
13. Make friends but stay on your main objectives. Knowing new people will somehow give confidence.
14. Compete in every exam. Boost your moral and confidence.
15. The most important thing is don't hesitate to ask God for help and consider failure as stepping stone to move forward. Erase your doubt that you wont make it. Everyone of us has the aptitude to learn and with the right instructions and materials to be used will boost it up. Skills are developed not inherited but aptitude is.

"remember to Study smarter not harder and learning is the mirror of forgetting"

Be consistent and continuously improve yourself. Left your past failure behind because it already build the bridge to where you are now so the next path is for you to decide whether you want to repeat the same mistake again or not.

Think positive, You were just like the other reviewee that I've met. They were assessing their competency on taking the board exam based on the results of their pre-board. So here's the question, how much effort did you give when you were preparing for the exam? Everyone says that they will take a double review to be sure that they'll pass it. Why not focus on taking the exam in a single review, Isn't it much better. I'm sure that if you get a low score in the pre-board you'll lose some of your confidence. I hope that this won't happen, because if that so your mind set will change. The pressure that your filling will lessen because your expectations will change into taking another review. Motivation is the key here. Putting pressure to yourself will trigger your potentials, potential board passer undergo review by focusing on passing the exam in one shot. They convert failure in the pre -exam to a motivating factor that will boost up their performance during the review and in the actual board. Everything you need to pass the board is already in you, it's up to you on how you'll manifest it.

You already have the right reviewers for that, just do some reading in PSA to facilitate some information that you will encounter when answering questions in Bobadilia's reviewer. Just keep on reading, AT is a really hard subject in the board exam unless they'll give easy questions for it.
