I love James Bond movies kahit yung mga luma na, but I really don't like Daniel Craig as James Bond. Sana si Jason Statham na lang bagay sa kanya ang role.

Best actors para sa akin as James Bond, Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery

He's not even an actor by job.

Dalton is the most Fleming-esque of the Bonds. His portrayal of the character is much closer to the novels than any of the other actors.

Craig is a good actor, Casino Royale is a very good film (while Quantum of Solace isn't), but what puts me off with the Craig era is they've thrown away the elements of the previous films that made James Bond a household name just to modernize the James Bond character. The result made James Bond a British rip-off of Jason Bourne.

^ Nababoy kasi ng Die Another Day, may mga Ice Palace, Sun ray shooting from a satellite, parang Batman series lang din ito ang daming nagbagong elements, naging dependent na sa mga graphics, kaya inayos nila to adopt to the ever-evolving thinking viewers, masyado ng predictable

ang daming nag reboot na pelikula like batman, x-men, superman, at itong james bond

Hmmm.. dalton, I like Dalton, but critics are harsh sa kanya both mga professionals at mga ordinary moviegoers, even the other James Bond actors

they were bashing Dalton back then but praising Craig now the hell is that, Dalton was just ahead of his time (a darker side of Bond) and became Bond at the wrong time when the franchise was going downhill (Moore's last two movies were a joke) don't get me wrong I enjoy all Bond movies but some of them weren't that good

Of course there's nothing wrong with modernizing the character, it must be done so audiences of today with modern sensibilities (obviously) could connect with the character. In James Bond case though, I believe that the old elements from the previous films could still work for modern audiences; just update it without making it cheesy. Instead they've thrown most of it away.

i agree that the closest portrayal of an actor as james bond was dalton's...he was perhaps playing the right role in an era wherein people find james bond as a thing of the past this was 87 and 89...and moore was a tough act to follow considering that i presume that most of us grew up watching the moore bond...dalton's portrayal was grittier and believable as compared to moore's...it's rather unfortunate that he only did two bond movies...he could've have been the best actor to play the role...
