Black horse and cherry tree has been sung many times on many singing contests.

Twas one of mcphees better performances and she evn reprised it on the finale.

Megan corkery also did on wild card round and it got her into the top 12.

Max milner did it pretty well but theres something annoying about him. Maybe its his personality. Which probably turns viewers off.

Well looks like vince kidd is winning this thing.

yes, it's been sung many times already including last year's The Voice of US. but it's a jam session type of song rather than a singing contest voting bait

the thing i remember about Mcphee with this song was not her vocals but her dry-humping the stage like a nymphomaniac

i like Max's personality, he has this swagger but with a mix of wide-eyed enthusiasm that's engaging for me. but i could see why some would find it obnoxious especially with his performance during the battle rounds. it's notable that he has not yet won the public vote but he's the most-watched and most-liked overall among the remaining contestants on the official BBC youtube channel

I don't see anything obnoxious in Max Milner. I see raw talent and showmanship when he's onstage. I dig the swagger very much.

I hope he wins but if not, then I am okay if Bo or Tyler does.

unfortunately di na yata nakagetover yung ibang UK audience sa "angas" na pinakita niya doon sa battle rounds where he was "in your face" kay Bill . Max being a theatre kid took Paloma's (his mentor in the BR) advice to heart to amp the battle swagger which was mistaken by some people for real cockiness

anyway bago pa man maligwak si Max ngayong linggo ipopost ko na lang itong videos niya

I think Tyler will get in.

Vince is the shoo in.

Ruth was DISASTROUS. She was one step ahead of the melody and she muddled up the big note of the bridge - not to mention the final "trust the voice within".

i'll be very happy with Bo winning. Vince will get in, but it's disappointing that he hasn't matched his blind audition performance. don't like Becky. i like Ruth but she has to control that voice. Tyler for team Will.

if that happens, this will be my preference:
- Bo. she's my winner from the start
- Ruth. there's something very charming about her
- Tyler. i just don't like how he milks his friendship with the late Amy Winehouse
- Vince. good voice, i just don't like the overall package. something's off, i just can't pinpoint

My winner from the very beginning was J Marie Cooper. I thought it was a toss up between her and Bo.

Kate Read would have been interesting as well. Haha

I think I have to ready myself that Max Milner will leave the competition tonight. Bo Bruce is just breathtaking with her performances and very memorable with that voice.

I hope Max will have a future in the business. Masarap malaman as to what his studio album would sound like if he's given a chance to record one.

If it's any consolation, ramdam na ramdam naman sa show ang artistry at musicality ni Papa Max.

I like Bo, Max, Leanne sa semis. Yun lang. Kinda dissapointed considering that this a pretty strong semi-finals lineup.

Bo ftw na talaga. Pwede narin si Leanne. She reminds me of Katrina Parker of TVUS who tremendously improved as the show progressed. Or atleast, imo.

i didn't like Bo and Max's song choices. i didn't think any of these showed off their true potential. Bo's song was slightly better as it was relatively more "refreshing" in singing competitions. i think both did sing it well though

Tyler performance is a worster's dream it started off typical before veering off to a trainwreck. Jaz wasn't any better though with that snooze of a song choice.

i think i'm liking Becky better than Vince lately. Vince has been consistently good but halos parang pare-pareho na lang ang dating ng performance niya. i mean you could accuse the same thing with Bo pero sobrang angat na angat ang boses ni Bo eh so she can get away with it.

i like Leanne better than Ruth. Ruth is out of control. both are quite old-fashioned singers though so hindi ko alam kung saan sila lulugar after this

anyway having said that, i'll be most happy kung si Bo ang mananalo dito. BO MUST WIN THIS! please lawd!

i'm sad for Max as i would have wanted him in the finale TOGETHER with Bo. he's the only WGWG in singing competitions who i actually liked and what i like about him is that he's not as one-note as his other contemporaries and competitors. he proved his naysayers wrong (yung mga nagsasabi na he's cocky/arrogant) after his gracious exit speech. ang ganda ng sinabi niya for Bo after his elimination. if Max plays his cards well, i think he has a chance making it in the music biz . his original songs are quite catchy. he's relatively fresh (his theatre work with Footloose and High School Musical don't count lol) compared to the others like Bo, Tyler and Vince who aren't really new to music business.
