Contenders for me next year:

1) ADMU
-has a good chance for making the 5-peat, with or without Slaughter. Ravena and Salva will still be there to carry the torch,and they will be joined by Chris Newsome (BRP 0.5) and returning Finals MVP Buenafe. If Slaughter returns we could be fielding Ravena, Tonino, Buenafe, Salva and Slaughter as our fab 5 next year, probably the strongest starting 5 in ADMU history since E-vil, Alvarez, Gonzales, Fonacier and Tenorio. Scary for the other teams.

2) ADU
-They may be losing lester Alvarez and Canieda, but Camson, Manyara and Nuyles should still be there to give the opponents fits. ADU isn't really all that dependent on pgs, as long as they can get players who can bring the ball up and shoot open 3s they should be fine.

3) UST
-my surprise pick for next season, I think the tigers will be out in full force. Hasheem played amazingly well as the season went on, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Bautista should be coming next year to provide the perimeter scoring they needed, and Ferrer should be better in his 2nd year.

4) DLSU
-really it all depends on who their coach is, the talent on their roster is comparable to ADMU already IMHO. I think though the DLSU alumni will snap and spend a ton of cash for their revival. Should be pretty interesting next year.

well, with the way things are going, it looks like Tonichi and Clap Clap Jack will find their way back to DLSU along with Franz.

I'm not that sold on NU. They have a ton of players coming in, no matter how talented you are chemistry will still be an issue. In ADMU's case, Slaughter was really the only new guy this year, Ravena has been exposed to ADMU's system since high school, and his coach back then is an assistant coach in the seniors team.

In FEU's case Ramos should be gone, Escoto isn't quite as good as he is so I think FEU should slide next year. Plus Romeo should still eb around to choke and destroy his team from within...

FEU, if i am not mistaken, will have Jumao-as and Arvie Bringas coming in. if Pingoy of FEU-FERN is already graduating this year, i expect him to suit up for the Tamaraws next season.

I am not sold on NU being in the final four next season even though they will be fielding talented players. these are the following reasons:

-They are still inexperienced.
-They have a losing culture. Cultures are very difficult to change.
-They have a small fanbase. Fanbases help the game through cheering and supporting during games.
-Their system is not yet well established because they have fairly new coach and they have new players.
-BRP is a ballhog. period.
