For long term national team members, ito ang mga naisip ko (12 members lang since iyon ang limit for FIVB matches):

Open: Daquis, Mercado, Cruz (Reserve: Valdez)
Middle: Alarca, Ortiz, Marano (Reserve: Santiago)
    Utility: Maizo, Gumabao (Reserve: Roxas)
    Setter: Dimaculangan, Ferrer (Reserve: Fajardo)
    Libero: Gata, Reyes (Reserve: Lazaro)

    Coach: Ramil de Jesus
Trainer: I suggest huwag European ang trainer dahil ang European brand of Volleyball eh medyo may pagka open-centric at hindi ito magwowork sa atin kasi Europeans are tall. Get an Asian trainer, preferrably Chinese or Japanese kasi mas magwowork ang ganitong style sa atin - mas forte ng Asian Volleyball ang speed at combination attacks. Nasa Asia lang naman ang two of the best setters in the world in Takeshita and Nootsara, so fast plays and combination plays are obviously very Asian.

First 5 matches niyan sigurado bokya, pero that's how all teams start naman eh. Iyong mga players above have the height and potential talaga, sana lang magkaroon ng proper and continuous program. Good collegiate players will come and go, but a good program is what is going to raise the standards of Philippine volleyball.
    I AGREE with this.
At syempre floor defense talaga dapat pag tuunan.

And to PVF: "Bad PR" kayo! Bakit inaaway nyo daw sponsor.

Isn't it for our country?

  4. #64

  13. #73
kelan ba magalalabas ng official line up?
    at kelan start ng laro?

  14. #74
    Eto maganda line up:

    Open: Bautista, Valdez o Bunag
    Middle: Balse, Roces o Din2
    Utility: Maizo, Mayet Carolino
    Setter: Salak o Iratay
    Lebero: Reyes at Lazaro

hi. i don't mean na makipag-away, pero i think you should get your fact straight and be objective on your justifications.

first, di naman siguro magiging BEST ATTACKER si Daquis sa PVF open for nothing. oo naba-block siya pero minsan lang yun.

and isa pa, how can you say na di effective si RAD against international teams? nakapanood ka ba nung Asian Clubs sa Vietnam? did you know na siya ang leading scorer ng Pilipinas? Well i guess di mo alam yon. aysus kung napanood mo sana yung games nila, kahit na talunan sila, eh sana nakita mo na kung nasa frontline si Daquis eh umaarangkada ang Phl team kahit papaano. i still believe na si Daquis ang best open spiker of her time dito sa pilipinas.

    yun lang naman. salamat. peace.

^i super agree with this post.

it was rad who always top scored for the shakey's-philippine wvt in vietnam during the asian club tournament.

and she won't be named the pvf's best attacker if she weren't a scoring machine.

if i were to make a line-up for the shakey's invitational

eto ang nasa wish list ko

    daquis and bautista-open
balse and roces (i just wish roces would be more aggressive and more pro-active in scoring)-middle
    maizo-utility
    serafica-setter
    reyes-libero

I think the reason why Thailand backed out is because of fatigue na rin.

The past month has been hectic. Just last weekend, they competed in the FIVB World Club Championships in Qatar, the week before that they competed in Japan and the week before they have the King Bhumibol Cup and then the week before, yung AVC Asian Senior Women's Club Championships and the week before yung Thailand Open. So parang ang hirap talaga.
