or would you suggest we take the earlier sailing time na 4:30pm kaso yun embarkation terminal will be at Macau Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal?
Masyadong tight kung 630. I think mas safe ang 430. Hindi bale na maaga, huwag lang late.

So you only have 1-2 hours for Macau? What's your entire itinerary? What are your flights?

    Post all details please.

hi commoner. we'll be arriving at macau at around 9pm from clark on the 7th of september then we will be leaving for hongkong about noon of september 8th. no itinerary as of this time yet as I am still puzzled on where to stay and where to go 'cause of the very limited time we will be having in Macau. Really need help for this, Thanks

  7. #567
When I said flights I also meant your return flight. ALL details.

When is your return flight? From HK or from Macau? Where are you staying in HK and Macau?

  8. #568
oh sorry about that. Here goes:
Sept. 7, departure @7:30pm, Clark-Macau (no idea as of yet on where to stay in Macau, can't decide if we will book in Macau city or Taipa.)
Sept.8, (probably noon) ferry to HK (be staying at TST, Yiu Fai Guesthouse). After check-in, proceed to Disneyland.
Sept. 9-10, no idea, staying in HK
    Sept 11, 9am HK-MNL

    Questions:
Does the ferry terminal in Taipa caters to the terminal in TST?
Is it possible to tour Macau (Senado square, Fisherman's wharf etc.) early in the morning?

There are more choices in Macau island, Taipa only has hotels. Ilan ba kayo?

Hindi OK yung plano niyo. Follow this itinerary:

Sep 7 - Hotel check-in. If staying in Best Western you can check out either Galaxy or Venetian by taxi. If Sintra you can check out Wynn and Grand Lisboa.

Sep 8 - Senado Square and the hotels you will miss on Day 1 evening. Early checkout then leave your luggage at the hotel so you can tour around Macau. Take the 5PM ferry to TST if coming from Taipa (there's only 1 trip from Taipa to TST) but there are multiple trips from Macau to TST. Visit Avenue of Stars after hostel check-in.

    Sep 10 - Disneyland

actually, we'll be travelling with my sister's friends. pero sila, from macau airport, libot lang sandali then they will go straight to tst na. naghihinayang naman ako if we will miss the chance to explore macau naman kaya i think of staying overnight then follow them at HK nalang, yun nga lang kasi they plan to go to disneyland ng Sept. 8, which will really be a lot of stress for my sis and me. and also, we will go to ocean park and ngong ping pa, i just don't know kung panu isisingit sa itinerary yun. disneyland isn't really a big part of plan, more on Ocean Park ang gusto. How much time would it take from Taipa to Macau Ferry terminal?

  11. #571

It will be a WASTE if your flight will be to Macau then hindi kayo mamamasyal sa Macau.

Masyadong hassle at masyadong nakakapagod.

You can do Ocean Park on your other free day and maybe Peak in the evening.

Taipa to downtown Macau is roughly 20-30mins.

hmm, my understanding is that from HKIA to macau via Skypier, there is no restriction on airlines. But the reverse is not true, from macau to HKIA via Skypier, only participating airlines are allowed. This is based on the information in the HKIA website, where the list of participating airlines is only mentioned in ferry transfer "From PRD and Macao". Well, since i am planning also to take this route on August 18, we will find out, hehe.

You still have to pass by the immigration then head to Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal or China Ferry Terminal (depending on the ferry you'll choose) to take the ferry to Macau. Tapos dadaan ka ulit immigration to exit Hongkong and then immigration ulit to enter Macau.

Mejo nalito lang ako sa pabalik niyo. Kapag dating ninyo ba ng HK, uuwi na kayo ng Philippines or will stay in HK for a few days? Kasi if you're staying pa, no need to pass through HKIA. Of course, dadaan ulit sa immigration ng Macau and HK.

Nakakahinayang if you leave Macau at noon. I would suggest.

    Sept 7 - Macau. Check-in. Rest.

Sept 8 - DIY Macau tour (Whole Day. Just consult this thread for more info) but first checkout early then leave luggage at Hotel/Hostel. You can buy the Ferry tickets to HK in the morning. Leave Macau between 8 - 9pm . Approx time to arrive at HK after an hour.
Check -in at TST, Yiu Fai Guesthouse. Kung me lakas pa, wonder around Mongkok or Ave. of stars. Rest.

    Sept 9 - Disneyland
. Kung me lakas pa, maglibot sa Mongkok or TST.

Sept 10 - Ocean Park / Causeway Bay or The Peak Tower. Kung di trip ang Ocean Park, replace it with Ngong Ping
360 Cable car to Ngong Ping village/Giant Buddah. Rest early to catch the 5AM A21 bus at Dawn.

Sept 11 - Catch the 5AM A21 Bus going to HKIA. Leave HK at 9am.

    Hello floreno!

This part (in boldface above) got my attention. Do you really need to catch the 5AM A21 bus if your flight is at 9:00am? The info from previous pages say the A21 bus trip to HK Airport takes about an hour. Is a 3-hour margin really required? Or is there any other reason? Please enligthen me on this one.

If I may make a suggestion, it would be nice to put a section in Page 1 of this and the HK thread dedicated to HOW TO GET BACK TO THE AIRPORT (or How to Avoid Missing Your Flight). There are tons of info there on how to go to the various parts of HK/Macau once you arrive but hardly anything on how to get back to the airport to catch your flight. I don't know if there's really gonna be much material to put there but tips and info on traffic, airport hassles, etc would be very helpful. For first timers (and anyone on a tight budget) missing one's flight and getting stranded would be one heck of a nightmare.

(I've been to HK several times before but the airport back then was Kai Tak and it was very near TST where I always stayed.)

    Thanks! Keep it up!

    Hi Wyvern888

We're also planning to take this route. My airline is cebupacific going to HKIA and we will proceed to Macau on our first day. I tried to called Cebu Pacific to inquire if i can take ferry in skypier pero wala sila idea if that is possible.

please give me feedback kung pwede o hindi thanks!
