    Harvest Moon: A New Beginning - Release Date, 15th Anniversary Edition Announced

    UPDATE: Natsume has confirmed to IGN that those who pre-order the special edition of Harvest Moon: A New Beginning will only get the cow, not the yak. The yak is only the pre-order bonus for the regular edition - so you'll have to choose which one you like best and go for that version. The correct answer is, of course, the cow.

    ORIGINAL STORY: Natsume has announced that the next entry in the Harvest Moon series - Harvest Moon: A New Beginning for Nintendo 3DS - will be arriving in North America on November 6. For those who pre-order the game at GameStop or the Natsume Online Store, their copy of the game will come with an adorable yak plushie.

    Since this year also marks the franchise's 15th anniversary, the company has also revealed a limited quantity special edition for longtime fans of the series who want a little extra moo for their buck. This edition comes with the biggest Harvest Moon plushie yet - a big ole cow! You can pre-order the special edition (and thusly reserve your 12-inch cow buddy) starting September 24.
