Established in 2002, MCI is the developer and operator of the SM Advantage Loyalty Program – currently the largest customer rewards program in the country. ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Basic Function:

This position is responsible for report preparation & processing of billing/payments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory and month-end reports;
Reconciliation of income statements and balance sheet accounts;
Coordination with internal and external partners for smooth and timely delivery of outputs;
Facilitate effective communication with all levels in the organization all business process requirements;
Recommends alternative or innovative solutions as may be necessary;
Responsible for safekeeping of accounting records and other documents;
Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

A graduate of BS Accountancy/BS Commerce Major in Accounting; Must be analytical, keen to details, highly organized, and results-oriented; with above-average communication and interpersonal skills; knowledgeable in basic Lotus and MS Office applications; must be willing to work on a six-day workweek schedule and on extended hours; can work well independently but good team player.
