Wrong! 1994 Finals was UST vs DLSU

1993 there was no Finals as UST swept the eliminations (old rule)

1992 was the last last time there was a finals with no DLSU or ADMU. That was between Adamson and FEU.

^ Don't forget that UP - the sleeping giant - is a HUGE market. So, I think it would still be profitable if UP will be there, even if UP will be playing against NU, a team with very few followers. And, I think this is especially true now that UP is craving for a championship.

well, i guess the UAAP can now survive without having an Ateneo-La Salle finals match since the league's new mega cash cow is Showtime, este the UAAP Cheerdance Competition. they could even have an NU-UE finals when they want to as long as the crowds continue to go to the Cheerdance Competition so that they will earn large amounts of money.
