Huh? Seriously? I'll book sa Agoda so a friend of mine na kasama ko ay kailangan din mag book?
I explained this on Page 1 already.

If there's 2 of you, you need to book a double room, a room for 2 people. If there's 4 of you, a quad room. 4 people can't stay in a double room in a hostel unlike a hotel where it's possible to "sneak in".

Actually, some hostels room are not on the same floor as where the reception is located. Especially if you are booking Quad rooms. This is true when we stayed in Dragon hostel, Hong Kong Budget hostel and MK Business hotel. All these hostels are located at Sincere House at Mongkok. the rooms given to us are either on separate doors or different floors so you don't need to pass the reception area everyday.
You can do sneak ins but not recommended because of the room space. Unless you get lucky because, I booked triple rooms before but twice I got Quad rooms so may extra bed.

Based on my experience, optimizing the negative 35 HKD is a little bit tricky. The key is to over purchase using your card and pay the difference after reaching the negative 35HKD. Because if you reach any negative amount, say -5 HKD after a purchase, you will not be allowed to use up the remaining -30 HKD on your next purchase. I was asked first to reload before i can use the card again.

Kasi tancha ko mas maraming tao sa Macau pag Saturday. Although parehas marami pag weekend, feeling ko lang mas konti pag Sunday. Pero pabalik ng HK yun ang marami.

Great pictures jpcrown! Kamusta ang experience pagpunta sa Ngong Ping on a Sunday? Ilang oras ang pila? Last na punta namin sa HK akala namin OK lang na madami ang tao sa theme parks during weekends. MADAMI pala talaga. Iniisip namin ngayon mag Ngong Ping na lang din and most probably The Peak.

Di rin safe mag sneak-in specially sa Dragon Hostel kasi for the past two stay-in ko dito madalas ko makita yung either yung may-ari or the pinay caretaker sa loob ng "common room/kitchen" kung saan yung actual rooms nyo. Mahirap na din mahuli.

Ngong ping on a Sunday did not take us an hour to queue up 15 mins only(we arrived at 10am) took the tung Chung line at Hong Kong mtr station Hong Kong then to tung Chung for cable car ride to np village. we stayed at central area that's why we took that route. We had lunch at food republic city gate. Infact, after NP 360 nag Stanley pa Kami and Victoria peak on a peak hour @ 5pm which took us 30 minutes only to queue up.

For as long as you know the route you're going then it would not be a problem. Kasi yung I/t namin for that day parang east to west or north to south route. 6 Kami Lahat one infant plus stroller, 3 kids 2 adults.

    Kaya yan Darth mond

This was the queue pagbalik namin from np 360 village around 1:30 pm. But I don't think it will be an hour wait.

This is at central area airport express area infront of ifc mall where we took the bus going to Stanley Market.

Initially we planned to use the cable car roundtrip but since we were early, closed pa cable car. We arrived at 9am so we just boarded the bus. HKD17 lang ang fare but we got the HKD180 combo (bus going there, crystal cabin going back with free entrance to monkey's tale theater). it took us 40minutes lang naman. going back we took the cable car.

feeling ko mas mura if you get separate tickets na lang:
    Bus - HKD17
    Crystal Cabin - HKD130 (oneway)
Total : HKD147 (as opposed to HKD180..panget naman yung monkey's tale theater)

May kasama pala Tai O excursion yung ticket kaya sulit din if punta kayo dun. We wanted to get back early so ayaw na namin.
