Mabuti't hindi bumagsak blood sugar mo ala-Corona, ha-ha! Are you not adventurous when it comes to food in a different place? That's part of the adventure! One of the best ways to soak in the culture is to try the local food.

Just curious, how much does a Big Mac or a Quarter-Pounder meal cost in HK these days? How much for a two-piece chicken meal at their KFCs? How about a two-piece chicken meal at the lone Jollibee outlet at Central?

I'm planning to take the kids with me in November. Ako adventurous sa food but these are probably just what they would want to eat there.

There are a lot of non-Chinese food outlets in HK so you don't have to settle for these places.

Triple O Burgers in Citysuper serves some of the best burgers I've tried.

Japanese food is common but expensive.

I sincerely hope you don't eat at Jollibee in HK.

    MTR fares to rise 5.4%
    May 25, 2012
MTR fares will rise 5.4% on June 17, the MTR Corporation announced today.

Fares for 61% of passenger trips will rise by up to 40 cents. Fares for 29% of passenger trips will rise by up to 80 cents, while those for 10% of passengers will rise by 90 cents or more.

MTRC Chief Executive Officer Jay Walder said the corporation will offer new fare promotions, bringing $670 million in savings to passengers. The promotions include ‘Ride 10, Get One Free’, a discount for second journeys on the same day, and a Tung Chung–Hong Kong Monthly Pass.

Can't blame them though, unfortunately not everyone can appreciate Chinese cuisine.

Foodie heaven ang HK dahil maraming hole-in-the-wall restos na may kanya-kanyang specialty. Tapos nandiyan din mga world-class na high end at fine dining restaurants.
How about the street food po? is it an adventure too? what is worth to try and where?

    Day 4
since nasa TST kayo, you may visit Kowloon Park. Maganda doon, relaxing (tambayan ko yun eh. haha) then Nan Lian Garden at Diamond hill. after that last minute shopping na

Thanks xyrwyn! For the tickets, do you suggest buying it online or when we get there?

"ferry from central going to TST" - The Star Ferry?

If you will add Macau then you won't have time to visit the other places in HK.

Definitely no time and no need to ride the big bus.
