Pero bakaw din yang si Miller, yun nga lang, di kayang mag-translate to points.

The rain couldn't dampen the rocking vibe at Circuit Makati as concert-goers just rocked and partied harder in Circuit Fest 2013.

WYNNE ARBOLEDA might find his way back to an AIR 21 EXPRESS jersey soon. How will this happen?Abangan.

The List: Top 10 PBA Players to Never Win the MVP Award
1. Danny Seigle
Let’s star by saying that Danny Seigle is probably the most talented local player ever to set foot on a PBA basketball court.
He made an immediate impact, almost winning the MVP award in his rookie season in 1999 after leading San Miguel to two titles, and was only narrowly beaten out by Benjie Paras.
His teammate, Danny Ildefonso, won the next two MVP plums, and not a few people would argue that the surnames on those trophies were misspelled.
Whatever the case, San Miguel won five titles in nine tournaments over Seigle’s first three years, and he was considered the best player in the PBA. With him as the national squad’s top gun in 2002, people were actually thinking that Team Pilipinas had a chance at upsetting Yao Ming’s China in the Asian Games.
But then, disaster struck; Seigle suffered a torn achilles tendon in the leadup to the Games, and he was never the same again.
Oh sure, he was still very good when he came back, and he showed flashes of greatness, even. But it hasn’t quite been the same.
Still, those early years were enough to make people talk about Seigle in hushed, reverent tones, even today. You know when you read an article, and come across a passage about how the Fil-Am invasion in the late ’90s transformed the PBA?
Think about it: Did any of those other guys lead their teams to a string of titles immediately? Did any other player change the way we expect 6-foot-6 guys to play in the league?
When people talk about the Fil-Am invasion transformed, they were really talking about Danny Seigle.

Alaska routs Barako Bull, gives Trillo first win as Aces coach
http://www.interaksyon.com/interaktv...-as-aces-coach
After feeling his way around in his coaching debut, Luigi Trillo finally found his winning touch in his second game in the PBA.
Behind inspiring games from Jason Forte, LA Tenorio and Gabby Espinas, the Alaska Aces ran roughshod over the Barako Bull Energy, 104-84, in the elimination round of the Governors’ Cup on Sunday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
Forte finished with 29 points, 16 rebounds and three steals while Tenorio ably quarterbacked the Aces’ plays with precision while chalking up 21 points and six assists.
Then there was Espinas, who was inserted on the starting unit and came through with 18 points, seven rebounds and did a little bit of defense.
The three Aces set the tone for their team’s breakaway in the second half, when Alaska scored 62 points.
“We’re still adjusting, but it’s nice to see activity from us defensively,” said Trillo. “Once you generate that type of activity, it gives your team positive result. We played aggressive basketball right in first quarter.”
The win was payback of sorts for the Aces, who lost to the Energy squad in the playoffs of the Commissioner’s Cup. On Sunday, it was Alaska which played with more energy than Barako Bull.
“They had a tiring game on Friday. But we have to give credit for our players for playing good defense. Jamine Peterson is a great talent. You try to make it hard for him to get touches,” said Trillo.
Peterson, who had an impressive debut in his first game against Powerade, was held to only 19 points. He even picked up a flagrant foul penalty one against Espinas during a rebound struggle in one play.
Espinas’ two free throws gave the Aces a 94-75 lead with 4:14 left and the Energy never recovered from there.
“Gabby is big and athletic, although he gets too emotional sometimes. People look at him as a post threat, but he’s a good defender,” added Trillo.
The scores:
Alaska (104) – Forte 29, Tenorio 21, Espinas 18, Baguio 14, Baracael 8, Thoss 6, Dela Cruz 4, Custodio 2, Gelig 2, Eman 0, Gonzales 0, Sotto 0.
Barako Bull (84) – Peterson 19, Seigle 15, Miller 14, Najorda 9, Allado 7, Arboleda 6, Sharma 4, Tubid 3, Salvacion 3, Kramer 2, Cruz 2, Cervantes 0.
Quarters: 20-12; 42-36; 76-63; 104-84
Barako was better off playing all-filipino both its games regardless of Peterson's blowout performance in the first game. To go the distance this conference, Barako should look for a team-player in an import. Napaka-potent ng mga lima ng team for it to resort to a 1-on-1 game with its import.
Barako should look for an import who can man the paint. Let Seigle, Miller and the rest do their work from the perimeter. The locals are good enough to match up against the locals of other teams but it depends on the kind of import they have.
Grabe pinakawalan si Arboleda ng walang kapalit!!.
Sino na ngayong starting pointguard ng Barako?
It is time for Shawn Weinstein to shine? Or time for Gatumbato to shine after a long decade of being a backup pointguard? Hehe
