Question naman po sa Korean adiks dito... Yung pagstayan namin na flat nagrerequire ng deposit and he wants us to transfer the money sa kanyang bank account which is Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK), nagtanong na ko sa BDO (pa lang) and they do not have means to transfer my deposit to Korea, unless BDO to BDO.. sa tingin ko baka ganun din sa ibang banks.. may suggestion po ba kayo? I also emailed the landlord kung pwede Western Union and he has not replied to me yet..

Good evening nga pala.. and TIA!

malayo talaga yang Gangnam station sa Express bus terminal.
merong Express bus terminal subway station (고속터미널). tatlong subway lines dumadaan dyan (lines no. 3, 7, and 9)

You may still want to try it out for the experience pero be sure to ask for the price muna before ordering. Yun kasi ang pagkakamali namin, we assumed na same price lang sya ng nasa street stalls kaya nawindang kami sa bill namin na inabot ng mahigit 60,000 won.
nagmahal yang Gwangjang mula no'ng na-feature ng 일박이일. dumami kasi turista

"Pinakamagandang mag-stay in terms of location" is relative. It depends on your itinerary. Where do you plan to go more often? If most of your places to visit are within the Jongno-Myeongdong-Dongdaemun area, then pick a hostel somewhere along that area.

I'll be in seoul OCt 5-10.

    tanong lang,

    1. BTW, ano na weather sa october? plan ko kasi light jacket & sleeveless bubble jacket lang ang dalhin ko.
    2. kakayanin ko ba makita ang cheongseomdae at libingan ni seon deok and then go back to seoul on the same day? alam ko mrami maganda sa gyeongju pero yun lang ang must see sa akin eh.
    3. ano rush hour sa seoul? dating ko kasi 2 PM, depart 10 AM. plan to take the subway at least once. travel light lang naman ako & sanay ako sa lakaran at hagdan kaya am positive kaya ko mag subway.
    4. saan makakabili ng strawberry? meron kaya dun sa grocery sa airport para dun na lang ako bibili before i leave.

    salamat

Question is me landmarks po ba sa bus station near sokcho and last destination ba nung bus yung entrance ng mountain? Saka, same din ba yung pabalik? And last worthy ba pumunta dun at ok Lang bang mag day trip, di ba nakakaligaw?

    2. Yung DMZ tour pwede po bang mag DIY dun or kailangan talagang me tour? Any directions po sana on how to go there pag DIY

    3. We have the same problem same nung other na nagpost, we got the early morning flight and di namin alam if it's wise na magbook na Lang ng hotel near the airport or get the last train at maghintay na lang. Meron na bang bus ng 4:30 am going to the airport or even taxi?

    4. San po pwedeng mag rent ng Hanbok for photo op Lang? I read na free sa gyeongbokgung? Tama po ba?

Thanks po in advance sa mga sasagot! God bless! ;-)

I have a few inputs about your up coming trip to Seoraksan although i haven't been there, but i'm planning to go there this coming December.

IMO, mahirap mag day tour lang. una, sayang ang punta mo kung mamamadali mo i mean you won't have enough time to enjoy the scenery and linger 2nd, talo ka sa byahe kasi it takes about 5-6hrs ang byahe papunta dun hanggang sa entrance ng Seoraksan. and like what you've said, since mag DIY ka, di kabisado ang lugar may possibility na mas magiging matagal ang pagpunta.

Based sa mga nababasa ko, worth it naman daw ang pagpunta lalo na kung nature lover ka. Sobrang iba daw talaga simoy ng hangin I'm about to find out this December
keep us posted! goodluck and enjoy!

Info that i got from a website.
From Sokcho or Sokcho Express Bus Terminal, take city bus No. 7 or 7-1 and get off at the entrance of Mt. Seoraksan (30 minute ride).
    2. From Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal, taxi takes 15-20 minute to the entrance of Mt. Seoraksan.

If you want it really cheap, go to namdaemun you can buy coats and jacket worth 10,000 won only. Maayos naman kahit pano. Mga 360-370 php pag converted to peso

    1. Sabi ni pedropinduko average temp daw is 13 degrees C. Minsan mas malamig pa sa gabi. Light jacket and sweater will do, then carry a scarf in case gabihin sa daan at biglang guminaw. Depende rin kung ginawin ka.

    2. Kaya yun. I've done that before pero nag-KTX kasi kami hanggang Daegu tapos idinrive kami nung friend ng friend ko papuntang Gyeongju.

    3. Parang lagi namang rush hour dun? hehe Pero yung super-rush hour is 7-9am. Depende rin sa kung saang subway line, merong stations na super-busy talaga kahit anong oras.

    4. Strawberry, kahit sa sidewalk at subway stations may nagtitinda. Wala akong nakikitang fresh fruits sa airport, o baka di ko lang natetyempuhan kasi hindi naman ako naghahanap.

I was supposed to go to Mt Seorak during my last trip kaso hindi ako natuloy since its a sunday and a chuseok holiday fully book ang bus going to Sokcho. My sister already went there before and will be going again next week for a couple's retreat. Advice niya nga sa akin since pinipilit kong mg-dayhike dun na ubos ang oras talaga sa biyahe so if i really want to go there spend at least a night somewhere in sokcho. Kaya i will definitely back again to Korea
