Anybody tried touring Garden of the Morning Calm in Gapyeong? how many hours kaya ito libutin? planning to combine this garden with Nami Island in 1 day. sa Nami naman 3-4 hrs kaya. we are fine leaving Seoul at 7am and return kahit 6pm or 7pm

I did not try the Garden of the Morning Calm since nasolve na ako sa Oedo Island. Pero nabasa ko siya nung research ko kaya nmn yan in one day, You can just Hop on and off the Gapyeong Circle Bus nasa w5,000 siya just keep the ticket. Ang ginawa kasi nmin Petite France at Nami Island pero super late na kami umalis ng Seoul kasi hirap kaladkarin mga kasama ko. We are with kids then kasi Kaya kung 7am kayo aalis sa Seoul, kayang-kaya yang 2 sites

dami namang mga affected dito,,, kaya nga forum eh,, question lang po... hindi ko kayang iwanan ang job ko dito... mas maganda at malaki ang sahod, malapit pa sa pamilya... super react naman kayo, parang guilty!,,, if someone asks a question so then interested siya or curious lang. haler! get a life.

LOL! anyone with common sense would know na di pwede mag-work pag TOURIST visa ang in-applyan. you can verify this with the embassy when you apply. and yes, guilty ako and have no life, that's why thrice na ako nag-bakasyon sa south korea.

within 3 days lang ang process ng VISA erich....hopefully ma aprub...para tuloy ang GORA sa korea.....

i've only tried ibville and namsan guesthouse. both are walking distance sa shopping area. pero between the two, mas gusto ko sa ibville (maybe because family room ang kinuha namin kaya mas maganda). masyadong matarik din for me ang namsan guesthouse especially pag maraming shopping bags kang dala. but either hostel e ok naman in terms of facilities and price.

Hi erich... usually ang work dito government to government ang arrangement. Need mag take ng Korean Language Exam.. dadaan ng POEA etc.. ang lagi may job order is for factory workers.. Hindi kagaya ng Singapore na pede ka mag apply pag nag tourist ka.

Day 3

DMZ Tour - usually one day but you can squeeze in Shopping at night. Tour starts around 7am and ends around 4pm. If can remember correctly.

Day 4

Nami Island - accessible by Train pero mag spend ka ng one day dito.. I think

Suwon Folk Village and Suwon Hwaseong Fortress - You will spend whole day for both. Suwon is kinda far from Seoul. Travel Time by Train is about more than an hour from Seoul Station.

I think you have to choose between Nami Island and Suwon Folk Village and Suwon Folk Village /Hwseong Fortress

Oh.. Korean War Memorial Museum ok din.. Meron mga planes, ships, tanks nakadisplay sa labas nung museum pa lang.. Interesting place to visit din

I'm currently reading the VIsa requirements for SK and I'm assuming that the info here are for employed(im looking at the employed section for me) but how about for my tita who just retired from her 35 years of teaching in the government. Di na sa kanya valid yung employment certificate. Im trying to call the embassy pero no luck walang sumasagot. Also for my mom na government employee, kelangan ba **** ng clearance from their agency/department?

I think mas cheaper ang local transpo. Nung pumunta kami ng petit france from cheongpyeong station we took the local bus. Hindi ko sure kung magkano kasi T-card ang gamit nmin. w1100 or w1200 yata. then from petit france to nami island unang dumating yung Gapyeong circular bus kaya bayad din kami ng w5000. Short time na din kasi kami kaya sakay na agad kami.

dapat kasi ikaw na nagsubmit para mapaliwanag mo dun sa teller. madali naman pumunta ng embassy. Just ride a taxi passing through C5 malapit lang sya sa market market.
