Norman Black
Leo Austria*
Pido Jarencio
*not that sure if its him or his players that win the games.
^ I would say kahit papaano, may sariling "magic" din si Coach LA. Sure Adamson doesn't usually get as much blue chip recruits (in comparison to Ateneo for instance), pero nagagawan pa ng paraan ni LA. Iyung nga lang, development may take a bit longer.
Which is why for me, Coach LA is a close second to Coach NB.
for coaching tenure with his team i'll go with norman black as numero uno full stop. he's got all the resources at his disposal plus his experience as a pro, not to mention his blue chips.
for this season i'll go with leo austria. non blue chip recruits were developed into role players and came out 2nd place this year? nuff said.
Sans the 2nd place finish comment, I thing Coach Leo is still better than Bert Flores or Pido Jarencio.
Only Leo is able to show any effective tactical adjustment midgame. The genius in the 14th game of the eliminations is that he had an answer to any adjustment that Norman made mid-game.
I think, more than anything else, Ateneo's biggest advantage is Norman Black and his ability to read games as they progress and make the necessary adjustment. Leo had both the manpower and the wit to be one step ahead of NB.
