Ask ko nalang din po, na-remove na po kasi yung premolar ko, and then yung nag-pa-teeth cleaning po ako, the dentist told me na lagyan ng denture or fake teeth yun sa premolar ko kasi uusog (or slight move yata) daw un iba ko teeth dun sa space na yun. Is it true doc? Ang expensive po kasi nung nirerecomend nung dentist sakin, eh tight ang budget ko.

^ You can apply as a patient at a dental school kung gipit talaga budget mo. Kung iisang ipin lang ang nawawala you are better off with either a fixed bridge or a dental implant. Most likely dental bridge ang makukuha mong serbisyo sa isang dental school.

Kapag pala hindi mo masyado ginagamit pangnguya yung left part ng ngipin/panga [or right part], pwede pala magkaroon ng tartar. Tama po ba? At masama po ba kapag masydong madiin magtoothbrush at madaming maglagay ng toothpaste?

^ Tama ka. Dapat kumain sa left and right sides kasi doon sa side na hindi ginagamit sa pagnguya ay maiipon ang dumi at ang calculus (tartar). Dapat dahan dahan and pagsipilyo. Dapat konting toothpaste lang para hindi masyado maanghang.

^ You can try Mercury Drug or Watsons or other health care related stores if they happen to have a mouth mirror. If you can't find any you can try Bambang (shops are near the Bambang station of the LRT). I wouldn't recommend you buy the ones we dentist use as they cost a lot more.

hi doc. mag grow out po ba yung impacted wisdom tooth kung missing yung first molar ko sa bottom right? sabi po kasi ng dentista ko maggrow daw kaya nga lang magkaroon ng gaps.

^ Your dentist will have to have a Panoramic x-ray taken and look at it carefully just to be sure. Yes, there is a chance for the second molar and the third molar to drift towards the first molar space pero maaring humiga sila as they move forward.

Hi Luna. Si Dr. Lorelei Carandang ang nagroot-canal sa akin. UP PGH graduate siya. I found her through Dr. Gigi Estrada. Reasonable ang fees, magaling at pulido ang trabaho at mabait. She holds her clinic at Project 4, QC near Labor Hospital. PMd you her number.

hi doc..tanong ko *** po sa inyo kung ano mas ok. fixed bridge or dentures? bali apat po *** missing teeth ko sa front posterior.. eh nakakapagod na *** on and off pag magbbrush na teeth..gusto ko sana itry *** porcelein fused to metal jacket crown..advisable pa po ba sakin un?meron akong nakita na sa net 2900per tooth? tingin nyo doc maganda un? uhm meron din pa pala ako problem., *** pasta ko sa 2nd molar posterior.eh temporary ***..**** mga 5years na ito.. para kasing may sira na eh.. ano kaya mgandang gawin doc?

^ johnkennedy1989 Sa kaso mo malamang removable dentures or dental implants ang kakailanganin. A dental implant costs P80,000 to P200,000 per implant. If you will need 4 implants that would be P240,000 to P800,000. For a removable denture, a simple RPD with metal framework will cost you P10,000 to P15,000 per jaw ( we have an upper and a lower jaw), regardless of the number of teeth.

Doc, i had this problem of my gums.. my 1st molar tooth on my right was pulled out almost 2weeks ago.. my gums also seems healed from wound of extraction. The bad thing is my gums feels the pain.. and it really made me hurt.. I cant really help it but to take a mefenamic acid for the pain.

I dont wanna go back to my dentist who did my last extraction.. I went to other dentist, believing they can do better for me.. I want sana to have an Xray for my dental problem, but the dentist prescribed me first to take antibiotic for 5 days.. 3 x a day, then if mefenamic is needed for pain i could take it. The dentist told me.. if there's no changes after my medication then we will go for n xray to know what it has inside my gums.. Doc, im afraid.. im thinking for so many things.. maybe there is pus inside my gums. what do you tink doc?! Hoping for your suggestion.. thank you and godbless you more..

^ johnkennedy1989 Masyadong marami kasi ang apat na ipin sa harap na nabunot tapos magkakatabi pa. Kung isa lang sana o dalawang ipin lang ang nabunot baka pwede ka pang gawan ng bridge.

^itsmelhen09 madali kang makakapagpakuha ng peri-apical x-ray sa kahit anong mall-based dental clinic. Pakuha ka na tapos request for an interpretation of the x-ray. After tooth extraction, soft tissue healing (gums, etc.) will take 2 weeks. Hard tissue healing (bone) will take anywhere from 3 months to 6 months. Healing will take longer if the area is infected prior to tooth extraction, or if the tooth extraction is difficult. If necessary it is okay to take pain relievers for 5 days straight.

Hello Doc! I want to ask for some advice regarding my tooth problem. So my premolar tooth finally fell out while I was eating. Actually yung tooth na yon, may sira na siya and pinabayaan ko lang siya for years (takot kasi ako dati sa dentist, and feeling ko masakit magpabunot ) But I've learned my lesson now although I know it's too late. My question is what are the options on how I can have it replaced? Mas better sana kung hindi masyado expensive. And also, I noticed na parang may "natira" pang maliit na ipin dun sa gum and yellowish na yung color niya so I think it's been sitting there for a long time na, di ko lang napansin. And kapag ginalaw ko siya may pain ako nararamdaman though hindi naman super sakit.

Doc ask ko lang po i'm worried about my teeth po kasi medyo yellowish siya.parang half is yellow half is somewhat white.my dentist told me na kapag nag pa laser whitening daw ako hindi din siya papantay.is that true? Gusto ko kasi sana mag pa laser whitening yung parang paper like yung whiteness.thanks po.hoping for your response
