Trunk call: Citta the psychic elephant to predict results at Euro 2012
Krakow Zoo has held a competition amongst its animals to determine who would be the zoo's official predictor for Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine
---
---
Andres Iniesta may have scored the World Cup winner two years ago, but the real star of that tournament was Paul the psychic Octopus, who correctly predicted the results of eight World Cup games including the winners Spain.
After his success - and subsequent tragic demise - Krakow Zoo held auditions to find the animal tipster for Euro 2012.
Citta the elephant was chosen ahead of a donkey called Katherine and a parrot called Jacko after correctly predicting that Chelsea would win the final of the Champions League last Saturday.
The final three were narrowed down to elephant Citta, donkey Katherine and parrot Jacko.
The animals were tasked with choosing the Champions League winners, and Citta the elephant was the only one to correctly choose the apple that symbolized Chelsea.
The huge elephant celebrated by crushing and eating an official Euro 2012 ball.
Citta isn't the only predicting animal we can look forward to during the Euros, however.

Already saw the schedules for TV. It will be on Solar Sports. Delayed telecasts only. 2 games per matchday, telecasts will be the same day primetime at 10:30pm, and late late nights at 2:00am/4:00am.
Anyone knows if it's on PPV?
I checked Solar's sched and one of the two matches will be shown live and the other will be shown delayed at primetime.
Yes, they have updated their schedule. Live matches for 2:45am KO's. Primetime telecasts at 8 and 10pm. (6 and 8pm on Sundays.)
I am glad that they changed it to live broadcasting. Thanks Solar Sports. Hope they will show all 31 matches live as what they have dealt with UEFA. Can't wait to the Euros!
